5 of My New Drugstore Beauty Favorites

Because we all love a good drugstore find, especially when it comes to makeup…

Lately I’ve been really into champagne-colored makeup (can’t you tell? ha), which is why I’ve been loving all the great drugstore products in this post…

What are some of your latest drugstore beauty favorites? Comment and let me know what else I should be testing!

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise: We obviously have to touch upon the fact that this mascara is pretty much a dupe for Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara, and I’m certainly not complaining (it’s a lot cheaper!).  The soft, wavy bristle brush is great for serious volume and my lashes always end up clump-free and feathery soft after using this version. It truly is a drugstore steal!  According to the brand, 91% of women who used this mascara saw intense and volumized lashes and 98% saw a lengthening effect. Done and done.

Sally Hansen Salon Chrome: Chrome nails? Yes, please. This DIY nail kit, while not technically makeup, had to be mentioned.  Three words: ROSE GOLD NAILS…plus it’s fun to make a little project out of this.

H20+ Oasis L-Balm in Heart Beet: I love a good lip salve and the subtle red tint is great when you want just a slight hint of color.  The salve itself seals in moisture and I love the cooling peppermint oil will refresh and invigorate even the driest of lips.

e.l.f. Targeted Natural Glow Stick in Champagne Glow: This highlighting stick is seriously awesome when I want to add some shimmer and bring in some light to my cheekbones, nose and cupid’s bow.  It’s enriched with vitamin E and coconut oil (i.e. super hydrating) and you can wear i alone or over your favorite foundation.  I always glide it on and then use my fingers to gently pat and blend it in.

Physicians Formula Glide-On Gel Eyeliner in Champagne: Speaking of champagne, I’ve been using this shimmery gel eyeliner on the inner corners of my eyes and it’s my new favorite thing.  Basically you can use it as a regular eyeliner or do what I do and use it as an inner-eye “highlighter” of sorts 🙂
