Because I love a good drugstore find…
The fact that I get legit excited every time I walk through a drugstore beauty aisle should tell you I really mean it whenever I talk about an amazing drugstore find. And I know it excites you guys as well, especially since the post I wrote on the best overnight face masks from the drugstore still remains one of most popular post (and it’s from 2015!). Gotta love the thrill of a good bargain, right?
By the way, if you guys want me to write about any other drugstore beauty topics, make sure to comment below and let me know (or you can always email me, too: Jamie@HonestlyJamie.com).

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector Moisturizing Retinol Treatment SPF 20 (my shade is Fair to Light 20): A tinted moisturizer with retinol? SIGN ME UP. As I continue to preach over and over again, retinol is the number one anti-aging ingredient…so when you tell me that I can get my daily dose WITH SPF 20, I couldn’t possibly be more excited. The coverage is sheer, but just enough to hide any redness or dark spots. If you like serious coverage, this probably isn’t the product for you but I love it for day time or just running around doing errands.
CoverGirl So Lashy Blast PRO mascara: This brush, right? It’s super cool and, trust me, it works. It took me a minute to figure out exactly what to do with the spiky ball tip, but after I got situated I was super impressed with much volume and dark pigment that it gave my lashes.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Pocket Palette in Boudoir Charme 106: This is my latest favorite eyeshadow quad; the colors are just neutral enough for day but you can totally also wear it at night if you build up the darker shades a bit. All four colors work together OR you can wear just a single shade. LOVE.
Physicians Formula #InstaReady Face Primer: I’m all about a good primer and I also love how a lot of brands are specifically making products for selfies, ha. I’m not a selfie taker, personally, but I do appreciate the look of flawless skin. This version has light-reflecting spherical beads, color filter pigments, and high-tech polymers that work together to instantly mattify, blur, and re-texturize your skin, while protecting you against UVA/UVB damage with Broad Spectrum SPF 30. Can’t beat that, ladies.
e.l.f. Tinted Lip Oil in Coral Kiss: If you know me then you know I love a good lip oil. This one, that will set you back a whole $6, adds a beautiful sheer shine to your lips. Each shade is infused with jojoba, apricot, and vitamin E that all work together to nourish and hydrate your lips – not to mention add a subtle tint of color. I’ve been wearing this stuff non-stop and have been getting a ton of compliments!
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Noir Liquid Eyeliner: I was drawn in by the cat theme (duh) of this product but, cats aside, I really do love a legit liquid liner. I don’t do a cat eye often, but when I do I look for a product that lets me have a lot of control and allows for easy application and precision…you know, since a cat eye isn’t exactly easy. This version from L’Oreal has an ultra fine tip and the color is super rich. Love it.
