Balenciaga Rosabotanica

When I first saw the bottle for BALENCIAGA ROSABOTANICA perfume I thought “omg, THE BOTTLE.”  For one, it’s beautiful and I’m a  sucker for packaging, and two, it matches my apartment. Done effing deal.  I’m not a big fragrance girl, as I usually stay loyal to my Narcisco Rodriguez for Her and CHANEL Coco Mademoiselle, but there’s something about this Rosabotanica that I’m really, really into…even aside from the bottle.

With notes of experimental rose, fig leaf and white amber, this fragrance is refreshing but also sexy and dry.  It’s now a welcome addition to my highly selective fragrance collection.  It’s floral, bright and spicy, all of which I love and adore.  From the brand:

  • The fragrance opens with crystalline floral accents of hyacinth and creamy green notes of fig leaf, refreshed by the natural green character of petitgrain.
  • The experimental rose offers bright vegetal notes while sparkling, slightly bitter drops of grapefruit and fresh spicy notes of pink pepper and cardamom enhance its personality.
  • The white, amber dry-down is cleared by a structure of vibrant and luminous white woods, made of cedar wood, vetiver and patchouli with clean woody notes.
