In my shower

in my shower- honestly jamieAs a beauty editor, I get a ridiculous amount of products sent to me for review and, believe me, that’s not a humble brag, it really is insane how much stuff enters my 700 square foot apartment every month.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE it…but when it comes to my shower routine I tend to stick the the basics.  Right now I’m loving a few different products but probably don’t use as many as one might assume, which is mainly because ain’t nobody got time for that, ya know?  Here are my current favorites:

(Foot/Body Scrub) WHISH Pomegranate Sugar Scrub// I like to use a yummy smelling scrub on my feet since my face is a bit too sensitive for that kind of fragrance.

(Body Wash) Dove Sensitive Skin Nourishing Body Wash// Lately I’m loving this Dove body wash, especially formulated for sensitive skin, which I annoyingly have.

(Face Scrub) Dr. Jessica Wu Active Enzyme Micro-Polish Exfoliator// Dr. Wu’s skincare line is A-mazing AND super affordable.  I use this exfoliator once a week since I have sensitive skin but other people can use it more often.

(Shampoo) ALTERNA Caviar Anti-aging Brightening Blonde Shampoo// This shampoo has all kinds of things that I love- caviar, anti-aging ingredients, and blonde-enhancing properties…basically you can’t ask for anything more when it comes to a shampoo.

(Face Wash) Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil// I fell in L-O-V-E with this cleansing oil after getting it from a Klout perk! It’s great for my dry, sensitive skin and my face feels incredibly clean after I use it to wash my face and remove my makeup.

(Deep Conditioner) REDKEN Diamond Oil Deep Facets Intensive Treatment// I tend to mostly use a deep conditioner since my hair is a bit on the damaged side as of late.  This “Diamond Oil” treatment noticeably hydrates my hair but doesn’t make it greasy or gross. (

Cleansing Device) Clarisonic Mia// The Clarisonic is a classic and a great addition to any shower.  I don’t use it every day, but I do enjoy a good cleaning every now and again.

(Razor) Venus & OLAY Razor in Sugarberry// I don’t normally love the razors that have soap or any kind of moisturizer attached to them but I really do like this version with OLAY and the sugarberry scent.

(Face Sponge) Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge// I’m a big believer in washing your face with your hands but this Konjac sponge is just so luxe that I can’t even stop myself.  Also, the Sponge is made from 100 percent preservative-free konjac root from the pristine, idyllic Jeju Island in Korea. Konjac root is an Asian-cultivated, root-based vegetable that the Japanese have traditionally used as a detoxifying dietary staple, and as a calming, exfoliating sponge for delicate skin.

(Foot Pumice) Pumice Stone// Cause you gotta have smooth, soft feet!

(Music/Entertainment) iShower// The battery runs down quickly but when I DO remember to replace them, it’s fun to listen to whatever random songs come up, via my iPhone bluetooth.
