Strobing is the new contouring

Because, let’s be honest, I’m way too lazy to contour…

You may have seen this feature on The Glitter Guide yesterday but, just in case, I had to share on my blog as well.  When the team asked me to do some fun tutorials I obviously jumped at the chance, and the first person who came to mind was makeup artist Stephen Dimmick (LOVE him and his positive energy). I blogged about his lipstick line, Glossi Girl, awhile back and I knew he would do a great job as my partner for this Glitter Guide post 🙂  Oh, by the way, we have FOUR MORE coming to The Glitter Guide (and my blog) soon!!!

1. Find a highlighter that matches your skin tone (think: subtle sheen).

2. Apply the highlighter on spots that catch light, but don’t spread it out yet. Spots to cover: cheekbones, brow bones, above your cupid’s bow, bridge of nose, forehead, etc.

3. After you’ve applied the highlighter, blend it out with your fingers and/or a makeup brush.

Done! It’s seriously so easy, guys. One product and three steps.
