A day late but not a dollar short? I ended up taking a little break this weekend, which was great/gave me some time to recharge, relax (at Cinespia, even though it was rainy and humid AF), and come up with some great blog post ideas for next month 🙂 Here’s this week’s list of happy things…

A hand soap that rivals $300 perfume
This hand soap (above) went viral on TikTok and I completely get why – yes it does, in fact, smell exactly like Le Labo Santal 33 (aka that $300 perfume that smells like heaven). It’s actually kind of shocking that you can smell so rich for legit $7, am I right? I also love that the bottle is chic, unlike most inexpensive hand soap. Oh, and I should also mention that the formula is biodegradable, paraben-free and phthlate-free, not to mention the bottle (minus the pump) is made from recycled aluminum, so you’re also helping the planet.
This is truly the most adorable, yet delicious-looking gnocchi I’ve ever seen. In my life. I’m not one of those “I drink PSL drinks in August” kind of girls…BUT, I mean, I can’t even handle how good this looks. I’m gonna try making them and will report back.
Estate sales have always been a big thing here in Los Angeles, mostly because we have a lot of really, really rich people who have a lot of really nice shit. That said, even though I grew up going to garage sales and vintage stores with my mom, it’s honestly super cool to go to some of these sales, and I’ve been loving it a as a fun weekend activity. Even if you’re not in the market for shopping, just seeing the old mansions and beautiful houses is fun!
I declared last summer (at least to my friends) that Abercrombie has officially made a comeback. Guys, do not sleep on their new stuff, and especially not the dresses – they are gorgeous and really well-made! The one thing is that they do sell out quickly; actually none of the dresses I have/love are even on the site anymore, but I get sooo many compliments every time I wear them (evcn a few “is that from Reformation?” comments – yeah it gives expensive AF vibes).
