So I’ve always been a total mascara junkie but I’ve always been hesitant to put mascara on my bottom lashes…until now. I’ve seen makeup artists do this, and do it well, but it was always one of those things you just have to leave to the professionals. Well Clinique swooped in and solved this problem with their new Bottom Lash Mascara.
According to a survey that Clinique conducted, 80% of women said their mascara brush was either too fat, too long or curved the wrong way to apply to bottom lashes- sounds about right. But it’s not just as simple as making a smaller brush. Clinique’s Bottom Lash Mascara uses a thermal active formula that lasts for up to 24 hours with out smudging or smearing (thank god) and is also flake-resistant. Also, it’s only $10…can’t beat that.
The heavens above have heard our prayers, ladies! This just made my day! Thanks for posting, because I’m totes buying.
Wait a minute … now I have to stock two mascaras? I’ve never had trouble apply mascara to my bottom lashes before, but I’m intrigued by the thermal active formula. (Like any good consumer, I have no real idea how that differs from what else is on the market but I sure do want it.) I suggest Clinique come out with a double ended tube (like the volumizing mascaras) with a top last brush on one end and a bottom lash brush on the other. That I would buy.
That’s a great idea!
