Michael Kors Celebrates Robertson Blvd. Boutique Opening

I attended a fab party the other night in honor of the brand new Michael Kors store on Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills.  I’ve been a big fan of pretty much anything Michael designs for the past few years now so when I found out that they were opening an LA boutique, I was elated.  The party was hosted by Petra Flannery and benefitted St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is always a nice add on.

Mika wore Michael Kors Resort 2012 optic white stretch boucle athletic neckline sheath dress with gold leather Quin clutch and Zoe wore Michael Kors Spring 2012 marigold double face stretch wool crepe sheath with Fall 2011 cocoa Quin clutch and Resort 2012 cocoa triple strap stilettos.

Had to show actress Kate Mara (from American Horror Story!) in these amazing Michael Kors Spring 2012 leopard shorts – LOVE.

Louboutin “Alex” Lion Heels

Just spotted: Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker wearing the newest “it” shoe from Louboutin’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection: The Alex.  According to The Daily Mail, Louboutin hasn’t yet revealed the price of the heels, but that hasn’t stopped Blake and SJP from galavanting all over town wearing the lion shoe.  I don’t know why but I am totally into these heels.  Sure, I love cats, we all know this, but I’ve always drawn the line at studded footwear…until now (maybe).

Christian Louboutin’s 20th Anniversary Fete at Barney’s New York

I’m always excited for a party but when I was invited to attend Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary party at Barney’s New York (in Beverly Hills), I was particularly excited.  I mean, it’s not every day that I’m in the prescense of a shoe god, right?  Also in attendance: Lea Michele, Dita Von Teese, Lucy Liu and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Obsession: Gucci Spring 2011 Two-tone Silk Harness Dress

Jennifer Lopez wore this a-pause-mazing Spring 2011 Gucci dress a few months ago to a charity event and I swear to god, every time I see this photo, I kind of melt.  I’m obsessed with the gorgeous green skirt-like bottom with the dark black contrast on top.  Be warned, I’m now on the prowl for an emerald green skirt.  Tweet me if you find anything close cause so far I’ve only found this similar look from Diane von Furstenberg.

Bethenny Frankel and Drybar launch the NEW Skinnygirl Ponytail!

You’ve probably read about my obsession with DryBar and now, the obsession continues to grow since with their recent announcement that they’re adding a Skinnygirl ponytail to the menu.  But what really interests ME is that they’re also giving complimentary Skinnygirl Margaritas and Skinnygirl White Cranberry cosmos to any client that orders the ponytail.  LOVE this.  I’m not even really into ponytails but if it comes with a low-cal Marg…well, I could handle that.

Three Questions With Paul Walker

I can’t pretend for even a minute that I don’t love the movies She’s All That, Varsity Blues and Pleasantville…plus, and this is a HUGE flash back but hello, Mr. Paul Walker has been on my man bucket list since 2006.  Seriously, that was one of my very first blog posts ever.  But I digress.  After meeting Paul, I realized he’s a totally normal, down-to-earth nice guy who has a real passion for marine biology (specifically with sharks), cars and Budweiser…on top of loving his new campaign for Davidoff Cool Water cologne.

Q: What products do you use, besides Cool Water, obvs?

A: I’m a water guy…my hair doesn’t need shampoo or conditioner and I really like Dr. Bronner’s cause you can wash your clothes with it, wash yourself…and I like the smell of both the Peppermint and Eucalyptus.

Q: What got you interested in working with Davidoff Cool Water?

A: I have a really intimate relationship with the ocean and Davidoff Cool Water is the quintessential ocean fragrance.  In junior high all the guys wore Cool Water…I think Snoop Dogg brought it back (Paul then did a mini rap; see video link below!)

Q: So why is it exactly that Budweiser is your choice beer?

A: I decided that I liked Budweiser before I even tasted beer.  It’s red, white and blue, it’s American and it’s the king of beers…marketing totally works.  What more could you want?!
