So I have to say, I was super impressed with the fashion at this year’s 2011 68th Annual Golden Globes awards here in Los Angeles. Normally I have one or two favorite picks but I had a REALLY hard time deciding this year. Here are my picks for best of the best.

So I don’t have to remind you…if you read my blog, you know about my Gwen Stefani obsession. Well, the queen of red lipstick has just been announced as the newest face of L’Oreal Paris and more specifically, the face of the brand’s new Infallible Le Rouge long-wear lip color. SO gorgeous.
“I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oreal Paris girls,” Stefani told People.com. Gwennie is joining the ranks of other Hollywood A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Eva Longoria, who all also serve as faces of L’Oreal. “To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I’m a lucky girl,” says Stefani. Lucky indeed, Gwen. Lucky, indeed.
The first commercial featuring Gwen will air during the Golden Globes this Sunday so stay tuned.
So if you read my blog then you probably get the feeling that I’m not such a huge sports fan. BUT I do love basketball…and especially, the New York Knicks. I was lucky enough to get four tickets to Sunday night’s Knicks vs. the Los Angeles Lakers game downtown at LA’s Staples Center! Not only did I get four tickets but they were four VIP sky box tickets, which worked out well in case I decided to scream profanities at the Lakers- this way I can’t get hit with anything.
I wasn’t the only Knicks fan in the house- Lindsay Lohan (who’s from Long Island!) and Spike Lee donned Knicks gear and there were plenty of other celebs spotted- Adam Sandler, Will.i.am, Michelle Trachtenberg and, of course, Jack Nicholson– he never misses a Lakers game. And even though the Knicks lost, it was a VERY CLOSE game and I have total faith that they’ll get another chance at beating the champion Lakers.

That is, until I attended CoverGirl’s 50th Anniversary Party at Boa (after the People’s Choice Awards) the other night and stood in the most celeb-packed room that I’ve ever been in. Not only were ALL the “CoverGirl’s” in attendance (including Niki Taylor!) but there was also a TON of other celebs like Lauren Conrad (along with her makeup artist, Amy Nadine), Whitney Port, Amber Riley and Cory Monteith from Glee, Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow, Kendra and Hank Baskett, Jesse Williams from Grey’s Anatomy and (gasp) A.C. Slater himself, Mario Lopez. I mean, come on. Sam Ronson was DJing on the one’s and two’s (I LOVE saying that) and I couldn’t stop staring at the foundation trees! Love. A BIG thank you to CoverGirl for inviting me to this epic party. This jaded girl got a big wake up call when I read my emails the next morning that said “OMG, I saw your tweets! I can’t believe you went ot the CoverGirl party- it’s ALL over the blogs!” And there it is, kids…

So by now you all know my obsession when it comes to all things Gwen Stefani. The lady has done it again with her new Wicked Style perfume collection. Think bobble heads gone cool. Any fashion-obsessed friend will loooooooove one of these in their stocking. My favorites? “G,” which is the Gwen doll and “Love.”
Love: a fruity floral of nectarine and orange flower. She wears a classic bodice red jumper dress trimmed in lace and a large bow clip. She’s the innocent one.
Angel: A sparkling floral of succulent plum and champagne, Angel ditches her soft look for a more daring demeanor in a black baby doll jumper dress with a scooped neckline trimmed with white lace.
Music: A woodsy floral of swirling cedarwood jasmine and juicy apple, Music is wearing her school uniform blazer that she customized by adding pins of her favorite musicians.
Baby: A vanilla floral of white peach and glowing amber, Baby is showing off her younger side in a bright yellow and hot pink sweater layered over a bright green t-shirt. She’s all about the accessories.
G: A fruity floral of peach, pineapple, watermelon and raspberry, G is dressed to impress- looking classy and sophisticated in her red and white checkerboard leggings and Gwen’s signature red lip.
