Today is the official day! The Hunger Games is out in theaters and boy, am I excited to not be at any movie theater today. In honor of the talked-about movie, Belvedere has created a “District 12” cocktail (and enough for a party!) that is pretty delicious.
Belvedere District 12
10 oz. Belvedere Pink Grapefruit vodka
15 oz. cranberry juice
2.5 oz. lemon juice
3.5 oz. Aperol
5 oz. orange juice
a dash of bitters
Add all ingredients into a pitcher and garnish with orange slices and lemons

I didn’t end up celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year since I was honestly exhausted after my Woodstock-themed birthday party with Sydne (more on that later) but that didn’t stop me from making this amazing cocktail in celebration. And, as a bonus, it’s only 118 calories!
Cookies n’ cream is hands down my absolute favorite ice cream and since Belvedere is one of my favorite vodkas, I honestly can’t think of anything better than this recipe.
1.5 oz. Belvedere vodka
2 Oreo cookies
0.5 oz. coffee liqueur
1.5 oz. milk
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Blend with a scoop of crushed ice and pour into a milkshake glass
Spring is practically here and I’m totally into this fun cocktail, created by Stephanie Sanders, the corporate mixologist for NINETHIRTY and The Backyard Restaurants at W Los Angeles in Westwood.
Cranberry Daiquiri
2 oz. mount gay
1 oz. elderflower syrup
1 oz. fresh lime juice
muddled tarragon
combine in a shaker and strain into a rocks glass with shaved ice
I hosted an event a few weeks back with Refine Mixers and let me tell you, I am obsessed with their ZERO calorie Margarita Mix (and no, they are not paying me to say that). In honor of National Margarita Day (yes, this is a real thing), here are two yum recipes…both under 100 calories and delicious.
I was totally skeptical when I got a pitch about Mercy, a new hangover prevention drink made with a blend of amino acids, anti-oxidants and vitamins. The beverage is designed to basically replenish key nutrients in your body that get lost when too much alcohol is consumed. I mean, I’ve heard it ALL…and most of the things that I’ve tried do NOT work. I decided to give Mercy a try during a night that I knew I would most definitely be hungover the next day – my office holiday party in Palm Springs. I enlisted my friends Devon and Nicole, giving them each their own can, and we decided that we would truly put Mercy to the test that night.
The result? NO HANGOVERS. For the sake of full disclousure, I didn’t finish the entire can because I forgot to put it in the fridge (and it wasn’t really at it’s best while warm) BUT what I love about this drink is that you can actually use it as a chaser and mix it with your booze and it still has the same affect. Genius. Devon and Nicole agree. This is a New Year’s Eve must-have.
You’ve probably read about my obsession with DryBar and now, the obsession continues to grow since with their recent announcement that they’re adding a Skinnygirl ponytail to the menu. But what really interests ME is that they’re also giving complimentary Skinnygirl Margaritas and Skinnygirl White Cranberry cosmos to any client that orders the ponytail. LOVE this. I’m not even really into ponytails but if it comes with a low-cal Marg…well, I could handle that.
