One Bag & Three Beauty Obsessions: Be&D

So, as a reader favorite, I really do need to do more of these.  Here’s my latest One Bag & Three Beauty Obsessions, featuring an amazing leopard bag from Be&D.

  • Stila Eye Shadow in “Kitten”: There’s a reason when something is a cult-favorite classic.  I wear this eye shadow to work, to Target on a Sunday or to a bar on a Saturday night.  It goes on smoothly, doesn’t crease and lasts all night.  I couldn’t be happier with an eye shadow.
  • Redken Time Reset Youth Revitalizer: A woman needs a good deep conditioner in her life.  I’ve tried them all but this one is different…in a good way.  It’s more of a decadent mask that provides a dose of peptides and ceramide for targeted hair follicle repair.  My hair has never been easier to detangle.
  • Clinique Superdefense Age Defense Moisturizer SPF 25: My skin is D-R-Y and with this comes a need for a serious moisturizer.  This moisturizer is serious for sure and I love that it has SPF 25 to protect you from sun damage (aka skin cancer and wrinkles) on top of it’s super moisturizing properties.

Decades Denim launch in Beverly Hills

So I’m a little slow on the posting but a few weeks ago, I attended a fabulous party in honor of Decades Denim launch.  The soiree was hosted by celebs like Lake Bell, Chloe Sevigny and Marisa Tomei at the home of Julia Sorkin in Beverly Hills.  I brought my friend Nadine Jolie along as my plus 1 and we enjoyed good conversation with party goers like Trina Dolenz, relationship therapist from the VH1 hit, Tool Academy.  Highlights included unlimted amounts of Veuve Clicquot champagne, spotting Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (and her chic blonde pixie cut) and of course, celebrating Decades new launch.

Fluxus Sample Sale in LA!

So I apologize for the lack of posts recently.  I’ve been doing (and will continue to do) a LOT of traveling through the end of the year and then I got sick so I’ve been totally slacking.  However, when I heard about this amazing sample sale at one of my favorite LA discoveries, I had to share immediately.  If you’re in the LA area, you should be going to this sale.

Tory Burch Foundation for National Women’s Business Week

So today is the start of National Women’s Business Week, which is something every woman should know about.  Tory Burch has partnered with ACCION USA, the nation’s largest microfinance provider, and launched the Tory Burch Foundation, an organization that offers economic opportunities for women and their families in the United States.

It only takes $5,000 to $10,000 to start a new business but more than 10 million micro-entrepreneurs can’t access the capital they need so every little bit helps since single mothers are at the highest risk of poverty and are the most likely to be self-employeed entrepreneurs.

Please donate if you can and also make sure to check out the Tory Burch Foundation line of merchandise, which all showcase the sunflower logo, which is Tory’s favorite flower and symbolizes a pendant her father once gave her mother as a gift.
