MET-inspired gold snake bracelets

So I recently headed up to the MET to check out the new “Model as Muse” exhibit. Seriously, I almost died. After getting yelled at by security for trying to take a non-flash photo with my iPhone, I realized that I’ve never wanted to take pictures of anything else quite so much. I left feeling inspired and got a nice jolt that made me remember why I love fashion so much. Since I was already there, I also decided to check out some the other regular exhibits and I stumbled across this amazing ancient Greek snake bracelet. I immediately came home and started a search to find a similar, maybe even cuter, gold snake bracelet that isn’t dated B.C. Check out what I found…

CHANEL and Venice, Italy join forces?!

So two of my favorite passions just so happened to cross paths a few days ago – CHANEL and Venice, Italy. Yes, you are correct, CHANEL hosted their 2010 Cruise Collection runway show on the gorgeous Lido Beach in Venice and I’m practically melting while checking out the images. As Rachel Zoe would say, “I die.” I would also die for some of my favorite Venetian gelato. Essie & Havaianas…the perfect couple.

So I’m all about flip flops…especially when bright nailpolish is involved. Check out Essie’s new Neon Collection 2009. I’m especially partial to “Perky Purple” and “Funky Limelight.” Havaianas also came out with the new “Fit” line…pretty much the same as before only better because they have a strap in the back for extra control. Love it. Love summer. Can’t wait to wear them together.
