The Monday Rundown: Christmas Eve addition

Clarins Feed 10 gift set: ANY woman would love this gift set.  It has all of the most amazing products (Beauty Flash Bomb, etc.) AND, as an added bonus, the sale of each Feed 10 Pouch will provide 10 nutritious school meals through the United Nations World Food Programme—a beautiful way to feed your skin and your soul.

West Elm Wooden Cutout Trees: I’m not one to go crazy with Christmas decorations but I’m really into these simple, wooden cut outs.  They’re chic and just festive enough.

Cannoli: An Italian dessert condition!  For me, these babies are synonymous with the holiday season.

Kate Spade “This is the year to” idiom bracelet: After a rather awful 2012, this bracelet represents the hope of the new year…and let’s hope it’s a good one for all of us.

The Monday Rundown

Really, I’m kind of laughing at myself right now because I wrote this post yesterday, as I usually do, but I accidentally forgot to hit “publish.”  Uh huh.  So here’s The Monday Rundown, at 8:30pm PST. xo

Glitter pumpkins: I feel like pumpkins are really having a moment this year.  In fact, I’ll be posting a cool pumpkin DIY link in tomorrow’s Tuesday Web Candy, so stay tuned. BTW- Pier1 is selling all their Halloween stuff at 50% off.

Kate Spade Play Hooky iPad Case: I’ve always LOVED the phrase “playing hooky” and IF I had an Ipad, IF, I would totally own this case.

Chocolate covered strawberries: One of my favorite snacks of all time. ALL TIME.  And so easy to make.

LUSH Shine So Bright: My ends have been a little dry and brittle lately so when I was introduced to this tiny balm, I was excited to try it.  It really does hydrate my ends but doesn’t make this stiff or sticky.  I like it.

Summer Obsessions

Frederick’s of Hollywood Bridget Stretch Cotton Thong: I am totally obsessed with these new stretch lace thongs from FOH…they’re like, seriously the most comfortable thongs ever and come in fun, summerish colors.

Maya Brenner Bi-Coastal necklace: A melding of my two favorite US states (New York and California), this necklace makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Fake Bake spray tans: Today, for the first time in about five years, I got a for real, butt naked in front of a stranger, spray tan…and guys, I’m back to being obsessed.  I used to go to Mystic Tan every week during my sophomore year of college but eventually just stopped going because it became annoying.  Sure, I love my DIY self tanner but nothing beats the results that you get after getting a customized spray…again, while you’re butt naked in front of a total stranger.  Not for the shy, obviously.

Kate Spade Changing Spots Hinged Bangle: We all know I love my leopard print but the white/gold colors make this bangle a little more subtle, plus I like the “changing spots” mantra engraved on the inside.

LATHER Sea Kelp & Ginseng All-Over Mask: I’m all about the MOISTURE this summer.  Moisture everywhere.  This is basically an amazing all-in-one mask that can be used on your body, face and even your hair to draw out toxins while restoring, yes, lost moisture.  The mask contains sea algae oil, which is great for antiaging as well as aloe vera and St. John’s Wort, which act as anti-inflammatory ingredients to ease red, irritated skin. The perfect summer product, if you ask me.
