Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo With Oat Extract

So let’s be honest, washing your hair is not only bad for you but it also just sucks.  Lately I’ve been using Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo (non-aerosol) and I absolutely love it.  I’ve tried a few aerosol versions and yeah, they work but they last for like 5 uses.  Really?  Not for $20, thanks.  This version by Klorane is simply fabulous and, if you’re eco-conscious, it’s paraben and sulfate free!

Something else that I’ve noticed,an added bonus, is that not only does this product absorb excess oil but it also adds a little volume to my roots, which I can always use.

Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Shimmer Dust

So I recently attended the LA launch party for Tarina Tarantino Beauty.  One of the great things about LA is that, like New York, there is always a party so when I got the invite and saw one, that it was a beauty launch, and two, it was for Tarina Tarantino, I was instantly excited.  The party was awesome- it was in a huge space in Hollywood and I spotted the likes of Meredith from The Office and Chet Cannon from The Real World Brooklyn– who I found surprisingly attractive.  Anywho, my favorite item of the night?  Sparklicity Shimmer Dust.  Unlike traditional shimmers, this mist-on version contains no binders, so all you get is a subtle dusting of pure glitter from head-to-toe.  Love it.

Degree Women Natureffects Collection – TOUCH

So I got my second amazing delivery from Degree today – a beautiful bouquet that added a nice “touch” to my desk and definitely helped to release my “Outdoorphins” and stimulate my sense of sight.  After receiving these flowers, I have to admit that I actually really like having flowers around me and, funny enough, 88% of all women surveyed by Degree agree that bringing nature into their homes lowers stress and makes them happier.  Hmmm…what have I been missing?  More than half of the women surveyed also keep plants at home to stay connected to nature.  I’m on my way to the garden store right now, people.

St. Patrick’s Day Gift Guide

So St. Patrick’s Day is totally the forgotten holiday when it comes to presents and being raised in a predominantly Irish and Italian area of New York, St. Patrick’s Day was always a HUGE deal and a big celebration in school as well.  Since this is my first St. Patty’s in LA, and there aren’t many Irish people out here, I decided to call a little extra attention to the biggest drinking day of the year.  And, as my freckled counterpart, Ashley Brady, says “on behalf of Ireland, we thank you.”

Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye Palette in “Green Isles”

This beautiful Destination Eye Palette just screams the rolling green hills of Ireland to me.  The colors, though green, are universally flattering and blendable.  I’m kind of in love with this palette.

Michelle Roy is known for her trendy and fun designs and I’m really into both of these pieces.

Wood and coral stretch bracelets with charm, SRP $58

Chain with clover, SRP $72

Erin Condren is one of those brands that people instantly fall in love with and if you’re super Irish, you NEED some St. Patty’s Day paper goods like these gift labels, flat note cards, folded greeting cards, etc.  Best of all- the entire St. Patrick’s Day collection is 20% off!!!
