How To Make The Best Margarita EVER

It’s almost Cinco de Mayo, which means you have until Sunday to master this recipe.  After years of consuming margaritas (you are welcome), here’s what I consider to be the BEST margarita ever.  What are some of your favorite cocktail recipes?

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime
  • 3/4 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 tsp simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water)

Directions:

  • Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously
  • Salt rims (you don’t have to, but I love a salted rim) using lime juice
  • Strain into glass over fresh ice
  • Garnish with a lime wedge or two and serve

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in “Bare Pink”: A beautiful mauve-pink shade, with lots of moisture, is key here.

NARS Blush in “Orgasm”: It’s the go-to blush for almost every makeup artist, and for a good reason.  It looks good on almost everyone and you don’t end up looking like a clown.

1. Rosemary & Truffle Oil Popcorn: As you know, I love anything truffle-related, and it’s just kind of genius on popcorn, with a little rosemary.
