So let’s be honest, washing your hair is not only bad for you but it also just sucks. Lately I’ve been using Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo (non-aerosol) and I absolutely love it. I’ve tried a few aerosol versions and yeah, they work but they last for like 5 uses. Really? Not for $20, thanks. This version by Klorane is simply fabulous and, if you’re eco-conscious, it’s paraben and sulfate free!
Something else that I’ve noticed,an added bonus, is that not only does this product absorb excess oil but it also adds a little volume to my roots, which I can always use.
I just recently found your blog and I am learning so much information from it. I have fine, thin hair like you so thank you for sharing how to manage it! I was wondering if you could recommend a specific shampoo and conditioner for fine, thin hair. Thank you!
I recently saw THIS article about beard products and was honestly just…intrigued. Obviously/hopefully, I will never have a beard of my very own but, in honor of MOvember, I enlisted Mr. William Stone (aka Daddy $ Bill) to test out the two different beard products that the Allure.com article mentions. Granted, my dad is definitely not a beauty product expert by any means…I actually keep my own bottles of shampoo and conditioner at his house for when I visit, because if I didn’t I’d be stuck with some organic, all-natural, no scent product that doesn’t actually clean or condition your hair that he “found” at Whole Foods. I believe I currently have some Fekkai stashed under his sink, and he knows that I’m the only one allowed to use it…fact. Anywho, here’s what my dad had to say about the two beard products that he tested out. If you have a man in your life with a beard, OR a man celebrating MOvember, you might want to read his thoughts…
Coterie.com,the new online shopping experience designed for the ultra-busy woman, introduces three exclusive limited time only offers by renowned botanical hair care brand, PHYTO. And guys, if you know me AT ALL, you know that I love…actually, make that LIVE FOR, a good blow out so you know I was excited when I heard about the easy PHYTO systems for a perfectly silky straight blow out. Now, using PHYTO takes me back…waaaay back to 2009 when I visited the PHYTO Universe Natural Beauty Oasis in New York City. They took photographs of my scalp and magnified it up to see how healthy (or not healthy) my scalp really was. The verdict? A healthy scalp. I could breath a sigh of relief and then go home and immediately wash my hair with my new PHYTO products.
Back to the blow dry sets…I love the PHYTO tagline “blow out before you go out” cause it’s just so true. When you have good hair, you’re going to have a good night, simple as that, and PHYTO and Coterie are giving you THREE options to help you get that perfect hair. My favorite? Option 1: Phytolisse shampoo and Phytolisse mask, since I have fine hair.
PHYTO Silky Straight Blow Dry Sets:
Option 1. Phytolisse shampoo and Phytolisse mask- $49 (valued at $62)
Option 2. Phytodefrisant and Phytolisse serum- $45 (valued at $56)
Also, if you’re not already familiar, you need to check out Coterie. They pretty much make discovering and purchasing prestige beauty products informational and effortless by curating and editorializing peer-influenced limited time only exclusive offers (while also offering full-price items). And, they have some great brands (Stila, Perricone, Urban Decay, etc.) so I’m pretty into it.
