So by now everyone knows about my obsession with all things CHANEL and after checking out the Paris Spring 2010 Ready to Wear collection, the obsession lives on. I’m in love with the black a-line mini with tucked in white button down and I mean, hello clogs! I was immediately reminded of the last time clogs were in style…which would be the 5th grade. It’s about time they made a come back! Check out the entire show here.
So I don’t usually do too much Breast Cancer Awareness coverage…not because I don’t care about the cause but mainly because I find most of the products only donate like 2% of proceeds to the cause. Just because you decide to slap a pink ribbon on some pink lipgloss, doesn’t make me really want to pay $45 for it when you’re only donating $2…right!? Anyhow, you all know of my severe addiction to all things Diptyque and when I found out that Diptyque is donating 20%, yes I said 20%, of proceeds from sales of the Pink Rose Candle (a personal fave scent), I had to make it known. I officially approve. You can get the charity version of Roses at the New York Diptyque boutique or at this link: http://www.beautyhabit.com/product3005.html
So pretty amazing news- Bebe Sport is being turned into PH8, a super chic new line pronounced “fate,” it’s a cross of chic fashion and fitness clothing and accessories that are not only comfortable but also super cute. Bebe president Tara Poseley says “The collection speaks to a total lifestyle and is targeted toward a woman who doesn’t want to look like she is trying too hard to be sexy… but has an effortless attraction about her that exudes confidence and a sense of playfulness.” Maybe this new line will motivate me to actually work out…we’ll see.
So I get a ton of press releases and pitch letters every day but when I saw an email about the new brand Kairos Acne Care, I was intrigued after realizing that I was being pitched the first-ever hair care line developed to help treat acne. What a lot of people don’t realize is that the neck, back, jaw line, chest and face are all susceptible to breakouts, no matter how careful you might apply products to your hair. As someone who had a two year bout with adult acne, I really wish these products had been around a few years ago. Kairos was developed to provide salon-quality hair care benefits without the acne-irritating side effects of typical hair care. Check out the line and let me know what you think. Remember, these products can’t replace a good skincare regimen but they’ll definitely help you fight the good fight.
So I went out a few weeks ago with the fabulous Nadine Jolie and she took me to the famed Bar Marmont in
So I was lucky enough to attend a Maybelline and WhoWhatWear.com event at
