Gift Idea: For Your Trendy Friend or Sister


So I’m not a particularly huge fan of Coach but they’ve come out with some really luxe-looking bags and accessories this season. The Amanda collection, in particular uses super chic satin fabric in rich jewel tones. I’m loving the Amanda Satin Large Cosmetic Case ($88) as a gift that you can fill with some lipgloss and other makeup, jewelry, etc. and voila, that person is dunzo.

Celebrity Feet


So, in my opinion, there’s nothing creepier than a foot fetish. I stumbled upon this absolutely ridiculous Web site, FeetMagazine.com, where they actually zoom in on various celebrity feet while on the red carpet, filming, etc. A-mazing that people actually take that much time to care about something so stupid…but then I found myself curious to see WHO was un-pedicured on the infamous red carpet and WHO had ugly little toesies. Alas, I guess I’m one of those people I dispise so much…eh.

Mellow Yellow

So according to the AP, yellow is gonna be the new purple this spring. I’m LOVING this yellow top (Lanvin Spring 2009 ready-t0-wear) and personally, I can’t wait…I’m a huge fan of bright, vibrant colors and like the article states, it’s a good sign of changing times. Let’s all celebrate with a “mimosa.”

WTF Fridays: Bumble & Bumble Bandball



So, ok…Jolie Nadine seriously must’ve read my mind because I was planning on writing about this for the new “WTF (what the fuck) Friday” that I plan on doing. I’m both shocked and appalled that Bumble & Bumble dared to produce such a waste in this economy..let alone the countless mags and Web sites that featured this. I mean…what Nadine says is completely true…you can make your own with hair bands from drugstore brands. ACTUALLY, hey…great gift idea, LOL. Only, even if I gave someone the Bumble & Bumble Bandball ($20, REALLY) I’d still feel really bootleg for gifting someone a ball of rubber bands. Jeeez.

Shake Your BABY Maker

So I’ve always wanted to try out that machine they use on crime shows that can digitally age a person (usually when someone is kidnapped so they can see what the kid would look like years later) and this digital baby maker comes in at a close second. This site is providing hours and hours of amusement and so far, I’ve had a baby with every ex, Ben Affleck and even President-elect Obama. Some are more hideous that others…but at least I’m now glad that I didn’t procreate with a few certain people.
