Hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil

hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil

Hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil. Oh, what is it?  Well, let me tell you, because I am obsessed.  The Lip Treatment Oil is a super rich concentrated oil blend of cutting-edge actives, botanicals, and skin-rejuvenating vitamins for the lip area.  Truth be told, my lips have been really dry lately, which is annoying, so when I heard about this new treatment, I HAD to try it…especially since I love Hourglass N° 28 Primer Serum so much.

The combination of powerful active ingredients, essential oils, plant oils, and vitamins works on contact to condition lips, relieve dryness and chapping, and shield against environmental elements. In addition, three advanced active ingredients strengthen the moisture barrier; boost skin smoothness; and elevate the appearance of lip texture, shape, and, the Treatment Oil is dispensed via an opulent 24KT, anti-bacterial, gold-plated tip to create a soothing effect on the lips. Guys, it feels like really, really nice…and luxe.  I’m into it.

LiQWD Professional Q-Keratin Smoothing Treatment

So I’ve written before about how great LiQWD products are and now I’m currently obsessing over their Professional Q-Keratin Smoothing Treatment.  After the Brazilian Blowout backlash, it’s amazing to find a product that’s 100% free of formaldehyde (all aldehydes, in fact) and methylene glycol, which are all ingredients that are in the Brazilian Blowout and totally bad for your health.  The Q-Keratin Smoothing Treatment lasts for 12 weeks and I love the fact that it doesn’t make your hair stick-straight (so 2002), but will instead completely get rid of any frizz, otherwise known as my mortal enemy.  You can still wear your hair straight, wavy, curly, etc. but minus the disgusting poof.

According to LiQWD, they use a quinoa protein, which has a very heavy molecular weight and bonds to both the keratin already in the hair, as well as the keratin in the product.  Very weird science but also very genius.

DIY champagne hair treatment for New Year’s Eve!

So if you’re like me, you won’t have any leftover champagne after New Year’s eve…but that’s exactly why you should buy an extra bottle BEFORE New Year’s and do this awesome DIY hair treatment.  I’ve heard that beer is good for your hair, but champagne?  Apparently, yes.  Hair expert Joel Warren of the Warren-Tricomi Salon explains that champagne make for an excellent hair treatment, especially for blondes!

Champagne can help you achieve smooth, silky hair by mixing one-half cup of your favorite champers with one-half culp of hot water.  Distribute the mix evenly throughout your hair and let it marinate while you are prepping for the big night out.  Thank Joel later.

Renee Rouleau Anti Cyst Treatment

So I have absolutely no idea why but I’ve been seriously breaking out for the last week.  Ok, maybe not seriously breaking out…but two large cystic pimples are now on the right side of my face and I don’t like it one bit.  It’s been so long since I’ve even had a real break out that I had to dig into my old arsenal to find my standard go-to, Renee Rouleau Anti Cyst Treatment.  This stuff is the real deal…this non-drying gel is specifically formulated for this particular kind of acne, as you really can’t treat cystic acne the same way you’d treat a blackhead or whitehead.  Lactic Acid helps to dissolve the cells that are blocking your pores as well as purifying within the pore…basically it speeds up the healing process since cystic acne can sometimes take WEEKS to heal.  Oy.  But I love this stuff.

Oatmeal for $1 at Jamba Juice!

So I’ve kinda been um…how should I say it…not so “good” about living on a budget and I constantly feel guilty about it. “Do I take a cab? I mean…it’s across town…cross town public transportation is bullshit! OK, cab it is. What’s $10?”

This is a conversation I have in my head…A LOT. Anyway, when I do find fun (and easy) ways to save a little, I DO try and take advantage. Jamba Juice is having a special for the entire month of March where they’re selling a hearty oatmeal breakfast for only $1. Seriously. Oatmeal is healthy and delicious so why not?

Print the coupon HERE…hell, print one for every day.
