Fact: I have blogged about white eyeliner in THIS POST from 2008 (yep, 2008) and again last week but it was just a few days ago that I re-read the January issue of Allure only to see, what? WHITE EYELINER at the KENZO Spring Summer 2014 show at PARIS FASHION WEEK. Apparently I was way ahead of the curve (right where I like it) and predicted not only the future, but the fashionable future. I digress. Maybe it’s time to try white eyeliner again? What do you guys think?
I’ve already raved about the Wet ‘N Wild version, but here are a few other alternatives to get the white eyeliner look:
Jennifer Lawrence, in Dior, at The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Premiere in Los Angeles
I’m not ashamed to admit the fact that I love (seriously LOVE) both of The Hunger Games movies. Sure, I know everyone raves about the books but I’d rather be surprised while watching each movie, as they come out. Sorry I’m not sorry…and luckily for me, COVERGIRL is the official beauty sponsor of Catching Fire, the second Hunger Games movie in the series. COVERGIRL invited me and a few LA bloggers and web editors to a fun prep suite at The Standard Downtown, followed by the official Los Angeles premiere of the movie and guys…it was just SO GOOD. My mouth literally DROPPED at the end, but don’t worry…I won’t give away any spoilers! You NEED to see this movie when it opens (this Friday) and also make sure to check out the COVERGIRl Capital Collection– a fun assortment of Hunger Games-inspired makeup, all of which is awesome. The Flamed Up Mega Curl Mascara is my favorite not only because it’s a great mascara but also because every time I use it, I start singing Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire”…love. “This girl is on fiiiiiiiiiire; she’s walking on fiiiiiiiire.” Must-see, must-sing.
