Because summer is all about the bronze-y glow (minus the skin cancer)…
As the palest person in California (ok, maybe not THE palest), I know a few things to be fact:
1- My skin usually matches sand at the beach
2- I always have that moment when I catch of glimpse of myself and realize that even the “fair” or “ivory” foundation is just a smidgen too dark
3- Finding a good bronzer ain’t easy…but lately I’m especially love these three:

Hourglass. Ohhhh, how I love Hourglass–I knew this one was going to be a winner. Too Faced is another makeup staple for this girl. The Too Faced Beach Bunny bronzer, aside from reminding me of all things Tone It Up (that name), is an awesome pressed multi-colored bronzer and luminizer. They refer to it as “California in a compact,” which I love, and it builds really nicely so you can have as much or as little bronze as you want.
Speaking of California, bareMinerals California Bronze Multi-Effect Bronzing Trio is the perfect example of a bronzer that you can really customize. I usually mix all three shades together but on those days where I’m feeling extra pale I sometimes just use “The Shining Moment” shade for just a little glow. Shades include The Ocean View (sheer matte bronze), Luminizer in The Shining Moment (golden champagne) and The High Dive (tan).
