It’s “winter” here in Los Angeles, which means my skin is basically the sahara…
My dry skin is usually in control but when the weather gets “colder” here in LA, it can act up a bit. To be clear, when I say “cold” I mean when the drops from 75 down to 65 (sorry east coast), but the struggle is still totally real. Dermalogica is a well-respected skincare brand but, to be honest, I haven’t tried many of their products before now…crazy, I know. I decided to call in (e.g. as the lovely Dermalogica social media team) two products that are great for dry skin and give them a whirl. My thoughts? Here they are.
Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque// This mask (or “masque”) is awesome. It’s specifically designed for dry, stressed skin (hi there) and also helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines- bonus. The masque uses hyaluronic acid, which is AMAZING for dry skin, to trap moisture in the skin and deliver time-released hydration that lasts for what seemed like all day.
Dermalogica Redness Relief Primer// I’m allll about my primers, especially when they have SPF. This one’s specifically for redness relief, which means that it balances and soothes the skin before you apply your makeup using natural green botanical extracts, oat extracts and oat kernel oil to help soothe and condition the skin.

Sounds great, might have to try the hydrating masque out for myself 🙂
It’s awesome- you will love it!
