Because you can really make your eyes pop with your face mask…
7 Fun and Easy Eyeshadow Palettes
This is the original LORAC palette that I used. As you can see, it was used frequently.
Let me tell you…back when going out was a thing (crying on the inside), whenever I would wear this eyeshadow I was pretty much guaranteed to get a compliment about it.
The rosé shade (clearly used to hell above) is just the most perfect shade of a beige-y pearl and I love it for day AND night (with heavier eyeliner and mascara).
LORAC PRO Palette 2:
The updated LORAC palette (above) is bigger and still has the rosé shade that I love! As a bonus, it also comes with a mini version of the brand’s eye primer. This larger palette is the sequel to the original, best-selling ultra-pigmented PRO Palette. LORAC’s PRO Palette 2 delivers cool tones and versatile shades created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw. The palette is packed with 8 shimmer and 8 matte eye shadows that are all infused with soothing botanicals (cucumber and calendula) and can be used wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes.
And here are a few other fun eyeshadow palettes that I love/will be great to wear with your face mask…
Mented Cosmetics Everyday Eyeshadow Palette ($28)
This palette is a new favorite from Mented (an amazing Black-owned beauty brand). Each shade is packed with pigment and the shades are perfect for day or night. And trust me, this is truly a nude eyeshadow palette you’ll love wearing every day.
NARS Eyeshadow Quad Orgasm Collection ($52)
NARS Orgasm blush is a cult classic and this eye palette version (that includes two new eyeshadow shades, Orgasm and Orgasm X) is honestly just perfection. It’s limited-edition so don’t wait too long to grab this one up.
JAFRA ROYAL Luxury Eyeshadow Quad in Purple Reign ($40)
Full disclosure: JAFRA is my marketing client, but ever since I started working with them I’ve been v. into their eyeshadow quads. Each shade is easy-to-blend and, as a bonus, enriched with the brand’s nourishing Royal Jelly RJx. The colors are also buildable, glide on smooth, and don’t settle into any eye creases (the worst).
Beauty Bakerie Do It For the Graham Eyeshadow Palette ($38)
Beauty Bakerie is another Black-owned beauty brand I was recently introduced to and this graham cracker-inspired palette is a new favorite for sure. You get 12 shades that give you all your foil, matte, and duo-chrome eyeshadow needs.
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eyeshadow Palette – Pillow Talk Collection ($75)
Another limited-edition favorite, this eye palette was inspired by the brand’s Pillow Talk, Charlotte’s original, universally flattering, sultry nude-pink hued lipstick. I also really love that the colors are categorized into day, desk, date and dream…not that you have to follow those guidelines, but it’s definitely helpful to any newbies.
CoverGirl Tru Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette ($13)
I’ve been using CoverGirl’s palettes for a chic smoky eye for YEARS. This one, in particular, contains eight intensely pigmented, blend-able shades that are designed to be mixed and matched to create the perfect smoky eye look for day or night. LOVE the product and love the price.
