3 Body Products For End of Summer Into Fall

Bath & Body Works Pretty as a peach sugar scrub - Honestly Jamie

Because this weather is a total freak show…

Even though it’s still outrageously HOT here in LA and other parts of the country as well, I’m trying to prep my skin for slightly cooler fall weather. Trying being the important word here.  There are a few things I can’t stop using but luckily for me (and for you guys), they still work even when the weather gets cooler. Here’s what I’ve been using that can also take you into fall…

Bath & Body Works Pretty As a Peach Foaming Sugar Scrub: Peach is obviously a summer fruit but this foaming sugar body scrub is luxe and rich enough to still work during the fall months.  Vitamin E and sunflower oil nourishes and protects your skin, leaving it incredibly soft and smooth. Top notes for this baby include yellow peach (duh), asian pear, purple freesia and white nectarine. YUM.COM.  Bonus points that the scent of peaches might bring back a fun summer memory.

Sonya Dakar Body Glow - Honestly Jamie

Sonya Dakar Beauty Bootcamp Fig Body Glow: Body oils are VIP to healthy, glowing skin and I wasn’t surprised at how much I loved this version from Sonya Dakar’s Beauty Bootcamp line. Its natural, non-greasy and rich in antioxidants that will help nourish your skin with essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.  I use this stuff after I shower and my skin has NEVER felt softer or smoother.

Avene thermale water - Honestly Jamie

Avene Eau Thermale Thermal Spring Water: This stuff is ALWAYS in my beach bag but these past few weeks I’ve been using it after shaving or working out for a refreshing “spritz” of thermal H2O.  Trace minerals and silica condition and reduce irritation, while leaving a soothing barrier of lightweight moisture over your skin.  It’s perfect for sensitive skin (like mine!) and you can even use it after surgery, makeup or hair removal for an extra dose of moisture.
