Because I always play (makeup) favorites…

After more than 10 years of this whole blogging thing I’m now at the point where I won’t try makeup unless there’s something about it that instantly impresses me. It could be an ingredient, a new technology, a color or shade, etc. but it has to be something, you know?  These three products are awesome and I know you will love them just as much as I do.

Circa Beauty Ultrasuede Cream Blush: Eva Mendes’ makeup line continues to impress me and even though I’m not a regular blush-wearing lady, this cream blush is GOOD. Like really, really good.  It gives you just the right amount of natural-looking flush and it’s super silky and buildable. My reccomendation is to start with a small amount, especially if you’re not used to wearing a cream blush, and then build it up slowly like I do.

Lancome Miracle CC Cushion Green Color Correcting Primer: Since my face does get a little red here and there (hello rosacea), when I found about Lancome’s color correcting cushion primers I got pretty excited. The green version is fab for redness and it 100% dulled the redness on my chin and around my nostrils in about two seconds.  Just layer it under your foundation for a non-cakey, transfer-free, skin-perfecting result.

Too Faced Mascara Melt Off: Another prize that I’m giving away in my October giveaway (you still have time to enter!), this is so genius. What is it? Well, if you’re like me and always wake up with mascara all under your eyes (even after you’ve washed your face the night before), this is a cleansing oil that dissolves regular and waterproof mascara.  How is this only NOW a thing, right?  Its precision wand coats lashes from base-to-tip with the conditioning, oil-based formula and then there’s no need to rub or tug the eye area.  The formula is infused with antioxidant-rich green tea extract to help protect lashes while rice lipids extract conditions. YES.
