3 Mascaras That You need STAT

Because these three mascaras are all perfection…

By the way, this is a sneak peek of my apartment reveal – this mirror is from Joss & Main and I’m obsessed.

It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara: When you name a mascara something like “superhero,” you’re setting the bar pretty, pretty, pretty high.  Naturally, I already know that anything created by It Cosmetics is going to be a winner and I was super impressed with how plump and voluminous my lashes looked with this stuff after only ONE quick coat.  The brand’s proprietary Elastic Stretch Technology stretches the look of your lashes wider and longer, and wraps each individual lash in a volume-boosting, lengthening, ultra-conditioning coat of support and color for the strongest, thickest, most defined results. Powerful lash-lifting polymers, volumizing collagen, strengthening biotin, proteins, and peptides combined with super black pigment and the Lash-Changing Power Brush work together to coat every lash from base to tips.  LOVE it.

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Noir mascara: The green wand (green before you apply the mascara, obvs) and gold leopard print packaging sucked me in, but I was honest-to-god impressed with how fluffy my lashes were when I used this new formula from L’Oreal Paris.  The black pigment is super intense, just the way I like it, and my lashes looked extra shiny the day I used it – just like a cat. Get it?  Feline Noir? 🙂

Lancome Grandiose Extreme Wide-Angle Extreme Volume mascara: I’m always intrigued when mascara wands are in some kind of twisted or non-basic form (i.e. not a straight wand).  This “swan neck” wand was designed to provide exceptional length, lift, and volume to alllll of your lashes (even those baby ones you can never seem to get). The ergonomic curve of the wand allows for precise and effortless application of every lash and the long bristles provide precision and suppleness, while the short bristles load on the formula.

My application tip:

  • Start with the outer lashes (I normally start with inner lashes first) and hold the brush horizontally so that the “swan neck” curves upward.  Rotate the brush down to apply to the inner lash line.

Mulberry & Grand canvas pouch (lol, right?)
