Because I get that no one wants to use goopy, greasy sunscreen on their face and arms every day…
Tatcha Silken Pore Perfection Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35: All of Tatcha’s products are amazing but I constantly recommend this daily sunscreen to anyone who tells me they hate wearing SPF every day. Why? Because it’s a broad spectrum sunscreen for ALL skin types, it’s lightweight and it has silk extract that legit makes your skin feel silky and smooth as butter. It also works as a makeup primer and, in fact, the brand did a consumer study and discovered that 94% of testers agreed that their makeup wears better when applied over this product (after trying it for a month). Boom.
Avene Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50: When it comes to daily SPF you definitely want something lightweight (in feeling) since, like I said, no one wants to apply goopy, greasy sunscreen on a daily basis. This version from Avene, aside from being travel-friendly, provides intense 24-hour hydration with a maximum water resistance of up to 80 minutes (though clearly you still need to reapply after swimming). I used this stuff when I was in Australia and it was perfect- not greasy, absorbed quickly into my skin and protected me from the super strong sun down under.
Vi Derm SPF 50 Sunscreen: This is serious SPF. Broad spectrum protection, obvs, is also teamed up with zinc oxide (reflects UV rays), aloe vera and green tea so it feels super light on your skin and leaves a dry finish that won’t rub off onto your clothes or car (ahem, yes, this has happened to me MANY times).
