Because these are my my latest every-day favorites…
Starting with a fresh face, I’m loving the new Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil, which actually removes 99% of dirt, oil, and makeup with no greasy residue…and when it says removes waterproof makeup, they are NOT KIDDING. I was super impressed with how well my waterproof mascara came flying off after just about 30 seconds. Win, because finding a good cleanser can be a real b*tch sometimes.
NYX Cosmetics Color Mascara in Pear: It looks crazy, I know, but this pear green mascara actually looks really awesome…as long as you just do one or two swipes. I mean, if you want crazy green eyelashes by all means go for it, but for a nice natural “hey, your lashes look nice today…” comment, one or two swipes will do.
Laura Mercier Kajal D’Orient Eye Liner in Noir Supreme: I’m always on the prowl for the best new black eyeliner and I’ve been using this version for the past week and loving it. Until now I was always secretly afraid of the kajal eyeliner, mostly cause I assumed it would be messy and smear, but this version from Laura Mercier does a fab job of staying on, and the color is SO VIVID.
Lilah B. b. Fearless Divine Duo Lip & Cheek: Lilah B. is a new brand some of the prettiest packaging ever…am I right? This lip and cheek duo is a current purse staple since I can quickly dab it on while on the go. The soft and creamy texture is actually long-wearing and buildable as well, and it’s enhanced with aloe leaf extract and coconut oil to soothe and moisturize your skin.
Youngblood Natural Mineral Foundation: I’m usually skeptical of mineral makeup since it can sometimes look flakey on my dry skin, but I LOOOOVE this version from Youngblood. The loose mineral powder is lightweight, doesn’t have any shimmer (gross), and you can build it up to whatever kind of coverage that you want. I’ve been wearing it before I quickly run to the grocery store and, shhh, also to the gym (since it won’t clog my pores).
