Because stress pimples are the worst and I like anything on a stick…
So it’s now been officially one week since I moved apartments and, let me tell you, I know that eventually I am going to have to move again but I’m seriously NOT looking forward to moving ever. again. Moving was absolutely awful and my skin, the fair-weather friend that it is, is telling me how angry it is about the stress.
Ok, I know I’m complaining a lot over ONE ZIT but I was on a serious amazing skin role and when the pimple popped up on my right cheek I was like “NOOOO, go f*ck yourself!” and immediately went into my arsenal and pulled out Kate Somerville’s EradiKate To-Go Acne Treatment. I kept these around obviously because Kate makes amazing products, but two because I was intrigued by the fact that the product (e.g. the acne “medication”) was pre-applied to individual sticks…and, honestly, I like most things on a stick.
Each stick is pre-treated with 10% sulfur (a FAB acne-fighting ingredient) and alpha hydroxy acids to reduce any enlarged pores and reduce the amount of oil you produce in that area.
I popped open one stick, dabbed it on my cheek, ran around my new apartment unpacking like a crazy person and forgot I had a pink liquid on my face for a few hours, which was fantastic. Once I went into the bathroom to grab my scissors (don’t ask why I left them in there- I have no idea), I noticed that the pimple looked like it had gone done- only after about six hours. Call me impressed, guys. We’ve got a winner here.
