So, I’ve been working furiously on an Iceland Travel Guide from my trip last week (as well as a few other posts as well) but, in the meantime, I got the chance to grill Kardashian hair stylist Jen Atkin at the BeautyWorks clip-In class with Mane University and, of course, immediately asked her to reveal exactly how to get a few of our all-time favorite Kardashian/Jenner looks. Each reality star’s look is different but definitely achievable at home, and here’s how to do it…
Kylie Jenner
1) Prep damp hair with OUAI Wave spray.
2) Blow-dry hair straight with Dyson blow dryer, and Harry Josh Oval flat brush.
3) Section hair into five even sections and clip each section.
4) Braid hair starting with the middle section using OUAI Finishing Crème and Gorilla Snot Gel to help contain and control the hair for a clean braid.
5.) Continue braiding down each side and secure the braids with elastics.
5) Use Color Wow Root Cover Up to fill in any scalp showing for a fuller, clean look.
6) Finish with a medium hold hairspray.
Kourtney Kardashian
1) Prep damp hair with OUAI Wave Spray and Kardashian Beauty K Body Volume Foam Mousse.
2) Blow-dry hair with Dyson blow dryer and Ibiza Hair round brush.
3) Section hair in the center and create large waves with a 1.5” curling iron.
4) Apply OUAI Hair Oil lightly throughout to create a shiny, smooth look.
5) Tuck one side behind the ear and lay hair over one shoulder.
6) Finish with a medium hold hairspray.
Kim Kardashian West
1) Prep damp hair with Christophe Robin Instant Volumizing Mist.
2) Blow-dry hair using a boar bristle round brush.
3) Spray a light hairspray throughout dry hair and brush through.
4) Using a Mason Pearson brush, brush hair into a high ponytail and secure with a hair bungee.
5) Tie the ponytail into the shape of a knot, securing with bobby pins and French hairpins.
6) Pull out some pieces around the hairline for an undone look.
7) Finish with OUAI texturizing hairspray.
Khloe Kardashian
1) Prep damp hair with OUAI Wave Spray and Christophe Robin Instant Volumizing Mist.
2) Blow-dry hair full using a boar bristle brush.
3) Apply Beauty Works clip-in extensions for fullness and length
4) Taking 1” sections, wrap hair away from the face around a 1.25” curling iron, leaving the ends out for an undone look.
5) Spray with a texturizing hairspray (after curling) for a textured look.
6) Finish with OUAI Matte Pomade on the ends.
Kendall Jenner
1) Prep damp hair with OUAI Wave Spray and R+Co. Aircraft Pomade Mousse.
2) Use a tail comb to create a deep side part.
3) Blow-dry hair with a Dyson blow dryer and the Dyson Diffuser (it comes with).
4) Section hair while drying to bring out a natural wave. Use your hands to form the style you want and tuck one side behind ear.
5) When hair is 80% dry, apply more R+CO. Aircraft Pomade Mousse and OUAI Hair Oil to create a semi-wet look.
6) Finish with a medium hold hairspray.
