Because eye patches are fun to wear and also serve a major purpose…
These Are Definitively The Best Eye Patches
Eye patches are my new thing; they’re really just great because you can travel with them, wear them when you’re watching TV, while you’re cooking dinner, etc. and they’re working while you’re working (or laying around, ha). Here are three of my current favorites…
Best for detoxing
BLAQ Hydrogel Eye Mask: These activated charcoal eye patches are AMAZING when you’re feeling really puffy and need a bit of a detox. In fact, the site says “late nights, too many cheeky wines and let’s not forget those carb-on-carb delights” Hahaa. So they get it. I love that they stick really well to your face and my under-eye area always feels so much better after I use these babies.
How to To Use Blaq Eye Masq
- Start by thoroughly cleansing and drying your face.
- Open the sachet and remove the two eye masks, placing one under each eye with the larger end on the outer corner (Ensure they’re positioned snugly against your skin).
- Let the masks sit for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the activated charcoal and hyaluronic acid to work their magic by de-puffing, hydrating, and brightening the under-eye area.
- After removing the masks, gently pat any remaining serum into your skin without rinsing for maximum absorption.
Best for wrinkle prevention
Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask: When I saw these on Allure.com a few months back I knew I had to test them out. The area around my eyes is really the only part of my face with visible wrinkles (hi, 34) and so the idea that these eye patches are packed with retinol (i.e. the best for fighting those little lines) was V. appealing to me. With each use, the skin’s texture is refined and the brand’s signature WrinkleResist24 works to fight your fine lines. And, as you know, I loooove a good clinical study. In a consumer survey, tested on 102 women, 99% said they will continue using this product and 86% reported a significant improvement in overall skin quality, which is pretty impressive.
Best for hydrating
Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches: At this point you know I love PTR’s products, and these gel eye patches are my latest MUST-HAVE. No joke. I have the Cucumber De-tox version as well (more on that later), but these specifically have hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient, and that means major hydration. The eye area appears instantly soothed and hydrated after you use these for 15-20 minutes!
