What caught my attention: I’m drawn to pretty much any new launch from Kate Somerville. (In fact, it’s hands-down one of my favorite skincare brands.) But the fact that the mask is actually pink is really just fun…and I’m not even a pink kinda person (minus the half wall of “blush” in my living room).

What it claims to be: Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior Pink Plumping Mask is a refreshing hot pink gel mask with three sizes of hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate skin.

Stalked info: The brand conducted an independent clinical study, and after just one use:
– 100% of women showed highly significant improvement in skin hydration
– 100% of women showed highly significant improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

What I thought after our first “date”: The gel mask is, indeed, hot pink and super refreshing as soon as you apply it (yep, it’s cooling so it’s also especially great for summer). My skin felt super hydrated as soon as I took this stuff off and, admittedly, I will also say that my skin looked smoother.
