A very demure August. So mindful. 🥂

Last week I had the privilege of volunteering as a counselor at @experiencecamps, a one-week camp for children who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling (or both, like me). We laughed, we cried (especially me), we pet donkeys, we played Mafia, we learned what sigma and cap mean, we listened to them ask to hear Kanye West multiple times a day, and we made new friends and amazing memories. To say that my week volunteering was life-changing is honestly an understatement; these kids have been through more than anyone should, and at such a young age. It was truly an honor to share my own grief journey along with them as they shared theirs 🤍🤍🤍 For anyone who wants to make a tax deductible donation or volunteer with Experience Camps, please check out their page. #FTK

POV: it’s wind down time (21+ content). As someone who has worked from home since 2013, I look forward to my little wind down rituals. What are yours?
