Because I have a few new faves you might want to try…
One of the few (seriously few) good things about being locked down at home is that I’ve had plenty of time to dig through my piles of product mailers, and today I’m sharing a few new beauty product favorites that I wish I tested sooner because they are AMAZING. To be fair, I did try most of these earlierm but just didn’t dedicate my full attention to them and now I’m excited to share!
Have you tried any of these yet? Would love your thoughts in the comments 🙂
A Few New Beauty Product Favorites
Haus Laboratories Le Riot lip gloss:
When Lady Gaga launched a makeup line I knew it would be good, but I certainly didn’t expect to love the lip gloss as much as I do. They’re just the most perfect high-shine gel gloss…but it’s lightweight and doesn’t stick like most high shine glosses do. The texture is creamy and, honestly, just the perfect hint of color.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Moisturizer:
I’ve heard how wonderful this moisturizer is for years but never had the chance to try it until recently when the in-house team sent me a mailer. Does it live up to its hype? Absolutely YES. This moisturizer has hyaluronic acid, peptides and vitamins C and E to really give you the ultimate anti-aging boost. In fact, I also recently learned that the creator, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, created Magic Cream because she was frustrated by moisturizers that didn’t provide a glowing base (for her makeup); Charlotte created her own to transform models’ and celebrities’ skin in an instant. It’s pricey but it’s just so good.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eyeshadow:
These eyeshadow sticks are now in my current rotation, especially since eyeshadow looks are such a thing right now with face masks. These sticks are long-lasting, creamy and can also be used to line, highlight, and create smoky looks. They glide on super easy and don’t crease, too!
StarFace Hydro-Stars:
I bought these and, admittedly, have been using them since the brand launched and I STILL love them. As most of you know, I don’t have acne but I DO certainly get the occasional pimple here and there…and these are my new go-to. Each little yellow star (so cute though) is coated with hydrocolloid, which is clinically proven to absorb fluid, shield spots from outside bacteria, and prevent skin picking. I also just love the brand’s philosophy of not being embarrassed by breakouts but, instead, embracing them.
H20+ Hydration Sensitive Gel Cleanser:
I went to an event last winter for this launch (OMG events! Can you even remember?!) and was truly impressed with the high quality ingredients and technology that H20+ put into this. The Gel Cleanser for sensitive skin, in particular, caught my eye and it just feels SO NICE when applied. It gently removes makeup and impurities with the silky gel formula, lightly foams, and then rinses off perfectly. It also has ingredients that help replenish moisture and reduce redness (hello to my rosacea). Seriously, this is the perfect every day face cleanser.
Farsali Hydration Bae:
I was drawn in by the cool-looking blue bubbles, but sold on the results, of course. This 10-minute no-rinse face mask leaves my skin BUTTERY SOFT and RADIANT. Not kidding. The little blue Hybubbles (TM by the brand) pop open once rubbed into the skin and give you a b;ast of hibiscus oil for serious antioxidant hydration. You can leave it on overnight (like I do), or wash it off after 10ish minutes. Your call. But you WILL love it.
