I’ll never understand women who do their makeup on the subway…First of all, I can’t comprehend how anyone is THAT coordinated when the train is constantly jerking back and forth and people are bumping into you. Second, I would be afraid I would poke my eye out. Third, it’s kinda personal- I don’t want everyone on the N train knowing that I put a ton of foundation around my always-red nostrils. Fourth, isn’t it kind of RUDE? I’m certainly not one to judge on what is socially (or even morally) acceptable but I just think it’s gross to use anything having to do with cosmetics (i.e.- hair, makeup, etc.) in public. This also goes for clipping your toe nails in the living room (is my roommate reading this?!)
