Because hangovers are the worst but I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve…
It’s still crazy to me that at 32, my hangovers can sometimes last for like two full days…I mean, why is that allowed to happen? Where did the days go (of my early twenties) when I could eat a slice of pizza the next day and be totally fine to do the whole thing again later that night? But I digress…these beauty products almost always help my old ass make a recovery. You’re welcome.
Bausch + Lomb TheraPearl Eye Mask: CRUCIAL to the healing, let me tell you. You can heat this up in the microwave OR use it cold (my personal preference) to help with any hangover headache or eye puffiness/swelling.
Rodial Super Acids X-Treme Hangover Mask: A good skin mask can actually do wonders for a hangover since you want to replenish any moisture lost from your face. Lately I’ve been using this version from Rodial, which is a fab triple-action resurfacing clay mask that deeply cleanses, exfoliates and restores a healthy-looking (non-hungover) complexion.
Skinn Cosmetics Sugar Lips: Dry lips are the WORST and, again, these can sometimes happen as a result of dehydration from the hangover. Made with real sugar and a special buttery blend, any flaky, chapped lips (and fine lines, btw) will soon become kissably soft and re-hydrated.
First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy: Dark circles are yet another little hangover gift that you might receive. I love this eye cream, in particular, because the applicator tip is METAL, which means that it cools and de-puffs your eyes instantly. The stainless steel applicator, which mimics the shape of the pinkie, delivers micro stimulation to the area while flawlessly blending the product into the skin…and the product also contains a host of age-defying ingredients that help with puffiness, dark circles and fine lines.
My satin pajamas are also helpful, btw. This print is old but there are other options here.
