So Halloween. I posted about how I was going to dress up as Lady GaGa and I’m happy to say that my costume was a huge success. Sure, there were a few people who thought I was a member of KISS…and a few who thought I was trying to be Jem…but for the most part, I think people got it. I owe a big thank you to the amazing product I used to make Lady GaGa’s famous black lightening bolt, Physician’s Formula Eye Definer Felt Tip Eye Marker. My friend Kelley put her artistic skills to use and was shocked at how easy it was to draw the lightening bolt with this product. Plus, it didn’t smudge, melt or move ALL night. The photo isn’t great but you can see how awesome this product worked for my Lady GaGa look 😉

Celeb Crush: Puck from Glee
So I’m slightly embarrassed to admit this but I kind of have a crush on Puck from Glee. I know. Mortifying. Puck has a real name and it’s Mark Salling. I’m sure I wouldn’t find Mark half as charming as I find Puck…which further proves how completely messed up I am when it comes to men! Of course I’m attracted to the rude, bad-ass with a mohawk. So typical. And don’t judge me…he’s 26 in real life. Check out this video of him singing “Sweet Caroline.” Melting.

Halloween 2009: Lady Gaga
So I know it’s a little obvious but I totally want to be Lady Gaga for Halloween this year. Last year, I was Eve (as in Adam and) and part of me also wants to use my Eve costume again since I made it, and it is totally awesome, AND no one in LA has seen it yet. However, this is my first Halloween in a new city…and a new city that apparently may give NYC a run for it’s money when it comes to crazy costumes (enter West Hollywood). Anyway, I already ordered a platinum blonde hair bow on Etsy so now all I need is some outfit inspriation. It’s a little tough with Lady Gaga because I really could just wear anything short and loud, no? Here’s what I’m thinking, after watching four Lady Gaga videos on MTV.com:
Hair bow, check. Big black sunglasses, check. I’m needing black fingerless leather/pleather gloves and might possibly do some kind of lightening bolt on my face. My first thought for makeup is undoubtably Illamasqua. If you haven’t already heard of the line, it screams drama and Lady Gaga. Any ideas for my actual outfit? Animal print? Leather? Fishnets? I need some ideas!

Stephanie Pratt’s turquoise eyeliner
So did anyone see “The Hills” the other night? I have to admit, I was only kind of half-ass watching it but then I happened to glance up and catch Stephanie Pratt’s gorgeous turquoise eyeliner. Who would’ve thought? I actually really like how she lined just the bottom of her eyes with the bright hue and I just might try it out this weekend. My pick? Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes in “turquoise.” What’s fab about Aqua Eyes is that they don’t smudge or run, like most eyeliners do on me.
