Just spotted: Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker wearing the newest “it” shoe from Louboutin’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection: The Alex. According to The Daily Mail, Louboutin hasn’t yet revealed the price of the heels, but that hasn’t stopped Blake and SJP from galavanting all over town wearing the lion shoe. I don’t know why but I am totally into these heels. Sure, I love cats, we all know this, but I’ve always drawn the line at studded footwear…until now (maybe).

Christian Louboutin’s 20th Anniversary Fete at Barney’s New York
I’m always excited for a party but when I was invited to attend Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary party at Barney’s New York (in Beverly Hills), I was particularly excited. I mean, it’s not every day that I’m in the prescense of a shoe god, right? Also in attendance: Lea Michele, Dita Von Teese, Lucy Liu and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Thinking About: Miu Miu-inspired Nails
I must admit, as cute as I think the Miu Miu glitter ankle booties are, they are total man-repellers. Nail art is so it right now and I’m loving Elizabeth Monson’s blog, MoveSlightly, where she features amazing nail art often inspired by runway fashion. I’m sooo trying this Miu Miu nail look this weekend, probably with the help of my nail-expert friend Devon. I just always adore the fashion and beauty hybrid…

OBSESSED: Lanvin Cutout Heel Pump
Every once in awhile there’s a shoe that I look at as art over foot wear and this is definitely one of them. Straight off the Fall 2010 Lanvin runway, these cutout heels are honestly just the coolest things ever. I really hope Steve Madden knocks them off ASAP so I’m not forced to spend $1,607 AND so I can be four and half inches closer to heaven.

Banana Republic The Mad Men Collection animal print cardigan: I obviously love leopard, when done right, but after reading all of the great blog coverage this new collection has been getting, I needed to won a piece for myself.
Old Navy Crochet Cross Front Wedges: I was reading one of my favorite blogs, SkinnyPurse.com, and came across a great “summer uniform” story that my friend Andrea wrote. I’ve been looking for a new black wedge for awhile now and I’m thinking these are exactly what I’ve been looking for.
From Italy, With Love purse: You can seriously find the best things on Etsy. I’m pretty obsessed with these little change purses – the artist uses real letters from Italy and prints them onto vintage sheets to make these. Obsessed.

Obsessed: Sole Society Alessandra Snake Wedge
I’ve so never been one of those Carrie Bradshaw wannabe shoe girls but ladies, I can not get enough of Haute Look’s Sole Society. As you may already know, I’m a Sole Society Fashion Insider so yeah, I get behind-the-scenes access to the new shoes before the rest of you, sorry to brag. I was recently sent this fab pair of red “Sandra” shoes (below) that were from my June “closet” (so sorry girls, they’re no longer available but how cute are they?) and I love them for work since they’re great for a pop of color.
Anywho, back to the wedges. I love the “Alessandra” wedges with jeans or a cute summer dress and they’re great cause they’re four inches which, for me, is the perfect shoe height…making me about 5’10.
