My Current skincare regimen

Because I’ve been getting a TON of “your skin looks fantastic!” comments lately…

Truth be told, I’m a skincare fanatic (it’s my not-so-secret beauty favorite), but I have noticed that in the last few weeks I’ve been getting a slew of compliments from people on the way my skin has been looking. And, get excited, I have one more product I’ve been using weekly that I’m revealing tomorrow on my blog, and I also did a video on my YouTube channel about it 🙂  Here’s what I’m currently using on my dry/sensitive skin…

Kate Somerville Retinol Firming Eye Cream: I’m a big-time retinol freak (i.e. the hands down best ingredient to fight wrinkles) so, naturally, when Kate Somerville launched this product I knew it would be a big winner.  This silky, weightless eye cream improves the appearance of firmness, texture, and elasticity, and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the eye area.  Plus, the gold applicator tip has a cooling effect and I love how it feels when you apply it around your eyes.

Sonya Dakar Organic Omega Booster: Bring on the oils…yes, even if you have oily or combination skin.  Dubbed as “liquid gold,” Sonya has been making this organic oil booster since 1982 and I swear it feels amazing on contact.  Rich in Omega 3,6 and 9 this light-weight formula is quickly absorbed into the skin and offers daylong hydration.

Anti-inflammatory properties in the oil also make it perfect for anyone with sensitive skin, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. The omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids, nutritive vitamins, protective minerals, quenching antioxidants and replenishing amino acids prevent dryness and help balance your skin’s oil production.

e.l.f. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths: Ok, so normally I’m pretty loyal to my Neutrogena Night Calming Makeup Removing Wipes but I recently received a PR sample of this version from e.l.f. and was INSANELY impressed. For starters, they cost THREE DOLLARS. Secondly, each cloth is big and has the perfect amount of moisture to remove my makeup. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Such a favorite new drugstore steal.

Shiseido Ibuki Multi Solution Gel: This gel, aside from being a fun neon green color, is my go-to spot treatment when I get an unexpected breakout. True, it’s actually good for other things as well (roughness, large pores, etc.), I’ve noticed a legit difference when I use it on pimples.

Philosophy Renewed Hope In a Jar Moisture Mask: This mask is an instant burst of cool and perfect for anyone who has rosacea, like myself, because of that. It helps with dryness, large pores and uneven skin texture and after the first time I tried it, my skin was literally GLOWING.

Kate Somerville RetAsphere 2-in-1 Retinol Night Cream: And, because I can’t get enough Kate or retinol, this is my favorite night cream (seriously, I asked their PR person for a new tube a few weeks ago cause I ran out).  It’s a light night cream that almost feels like a serum, which is great for night time when you don’t want to go to bed with a wet face, and this night cream actually has a smart release carrier system to protect pure retinol in a lipid shell so that it melts evenly into the skin, minimizing irritation and dryness. Yes to all things time-released. Always.

N07 Early Defense Day Cream SPF 30: My latest day cream favorite! I love that I’m getting my broad spectrum SPF 30 protection, and I also love that this cream is also the perfect amount of AM moisture that I need. Plus, it’s got lipopeptides and vitamin A to help reduce the appearance of those first fines lines.

SiO Decollete Cleansing Disc: Since I’m in my 30s, my neck and decollete have become my newest concern/sick obsession. SiO actually has quite a few products for the neck/decollete (more reviews to come) but I’ve been verrrry pleased with these discs.  By lightly exfoliating and clearing pores, you basically allow new skin cells to form and, ahem, skin looks younger.
