Because what’s better than a gift that also gives back?

Gifts That Give Back

Hand embroidered astrology pillows

How gorgeous are these pillows?!  Handmade by artisans in India. These astrological pillows are not only so chic. However,  I also love that $1 from every pillow purchase goes to a nonprofit organization of your choice.  The Pisces in me really wants this…

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Set

You guys know how much I love Rare Beauty. This limited-edition trio is perfect for anyone who also loves their products (or someone who wants to try them!).  Their Soft Pinch Liquid Blush went viral on TikTok, and for good reason.  Also, the brand’s Rare Impact Fund has a goal to raise $100 million over the next 10 years. This is to help people have access to mental health services, a mission founder Selena Gomez is super passionate about.

Thrive Causemetics Mascara + Double Eyeshadow Stick Set

Thrive is another beauty brand doing amazing things AND making amazing products.  This holiday set features two of my favorite Thrive products: their award-winning mascara and their double eyeshadow sticks!  You can customize the shades you want, which is also awesome.  For every Thrive Causmetics product purchased, the brand donates to various organizations working to fight cancer, homelessness, domestic abuse, racial and social justice, pursuing education, supporting LGBTQ+ causes, uplifting underserved marginalized youth, and assisting veterans.

Tatcha Plump & Dewy Trio

This Tatcha gift set is an AMAZING gift for anyone (or for yourself, of course).  These three deeply hydrating formulas of plumping hyaluronic acid, moisture-replenishing Okinawa algae, and gently effective, Japanese ingredients feel like pure luxury on your skin, trust me.

Fun fact: for every full-size Tatcha skincare product sold, the brand’s fund works to help girls in Africa and Asia stay in school, and also donates diverse books to underserved communities through its partnership with Room to Read.

Bombas Holiday Snowflake Ankle Sock Gift Box

Bombas socks are superior, that’s a fact.  Not only are they super comfortable and functional, but this gift box set is such a cute gift!  The brand also has a “one purchased, one donated” program since socks are the number one most requested clothing item in homeless shelters.  Bombas will donate one pair of socks for every pair purchased.

Kendra Scott Maren Gold Hoop Earrings

These chic gold hoop earrings were designed by University of Texas students through the brand’s The Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute. Love.  Also love?  The earrings have a convertible design so that they can be worn several ways, complete with removable rings (in sizes 4, 7, and 8), that you can mix and match on the hoop, or stack them separately.

Also, 20% of the proceeds from every purchase of these earrings benefits The Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute to strengthen the next generation of courageous, creative female leaders who will change the world.

The Little Market Vanity Gift Set

As a long-time The Little Market fan, I am absolutely obsessed with their gift sets.  This one, in particular, has the most beautiful organization pieces that double as décor.  These beautiful countertop essentials are paired with a hand-poured candle and I can’t think of one person who wouldn’t love this.

As far a giving back, with every gift you give from The Little Market, you are not only treating your loved ones, but also supporting artisans and producers in underserved communities globally.  The Little Market is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the economic self-sufficiency of women worldwide through dignified income opportunities. Their mission is anchored in the fundamental belief that every person has the right to safe jobs and fair, livable wages. Each piece is made following fair trade principles, ultimately contributing to a life-changing sustainable income and giving back to the people who made it.

SAWA SAWA Handmade Market Tote

This tote is SO GOOD, right?!  This handwoven tote is made by artisans in Kenya using native African sisal plant fibers – it works perfectly as a farmer’s market tote, a reusable bag, a beach bag, laundry basket, beauty bag, or a weekend activity bag.  I also love the meaning behind the colors; in African culture, yellow stands for generosity and warmth, while brown stands for the earth. Together they create a beautiful, sustainable, warm, earth.

Now, when it comes to the brand, SAWA SAWA is a non-profit fashion brand that’s sustainable and run by Black women.  Their mission is to empower artisan women in Kenya by harnessing their ancient skills in weaving, beading, art and more to provide a sustainable dignified income.  They then re-invest the revenue into various 501c3 non-profit empowerment programs, especially menstrual kits for girls in school.  Every sale empowers a woman and a girl in Kenya.

National Park Candles

I just clicked “buy” on this brand’s Yellowstone candle; it’s a perfect way to remember my dad since we drove through Yellowstone National Park when I moved from New York to LA way back in 2009.  Even if you don’t have a special national park memory, these candles are so chic and I love that the brand supports the conservation and protection of public lands, and diversity and inclusion in the outdoors through annual donations to leading environmental organizations.

Teneral Cellars Women’s Health Wine Collection

Any time I can combine wine and giving back, I’m in.  Teneral Cellars partnered with the Endometriosis Foundation of America on this wine trio collection to bring attention to reproductive, heart, and breast health issues that affect millions of women globally.

With every three-pack sold, $10 will be donated to the Endometriosis Foundation of America.

The Elephant Project Stuffed Animals

I fell in absolute love with elephants after visiting an elephant sanctuary in Thailand – I feel like most people don’t know about the horrible conditions and torture that some elephants go through, and I won’t get into that right now.  Right now is just about The Elephant Project and their mission to save elephants by selling these ADORABLE stuffed animals.  My faves?

Tembo: Tembo, meaning “elephant” in Swahili, is an 8″ stuffed elephant doll made out of soft grey fabric and green overalls.  100% of net proceeds go to various organizations that help aid in fighting the poaching crisis. Also, to provide care to injured, abandoned, orphaned, and abused elephants.

OBA: OBA, meaning “King Ruler” in West Africa, is an 8″ stuffed lion doll made out of soft tan fabric and a white jacket.  100% of net proceeds go to various organizations that help aid in fighting the poaching crisis. The goal is also also to provide care to injured, abandoned, orphaned, and abused big cats.
