Because I LIVED for Jem in the late 80s…
When I found out that they (and by they, I mean Scooter Braun, oddly enough) were doing a Jem and The Holograms MOVIE, I was ELATED. Serious joy was in my heart and I even called my mom, who didn’t quite share my full level of enthusiasm, but understood why I was so excited.
“I’m pretty sure I still have your Jem dolls in my garage,” mom replied. “Um, what do you mean you are ‘pretty sure’? You better be 100% sure, mom!” That is how much I LOVED Jem back in the day.
Manic Panic Jem Amplified Hair Color: I can’t think of a collar that makes more sense given the fact that all four girls had a Manic Panic-esque hair color. Jem, obviously, is pink, Kimber is red, Shana is purple and Aja is turquoise. Jem and Kimber’s shades also glow under a black light, so you can really rock out 80s-style.
Lancome Drama Liqui-Pencil Longwear Eyeliner: This one isn’t officially a Jem collar, BUT it’s actually super perfect because these colors are VIVID and embody all things Jem/the 80s. The high-intensity liqui-eyeliner, color aside, is actually fantastic. It gives you the the high intensity color of a liquid liner and the ease of application of a pencil. I’ve been using the black version every day and l-o-v-i-n-g it.
Jem and The Holograms Flash Tattoos: Glamour. Glitter. Fashion. Fame…oh yes. This Flash Tattoos collar is a-mazing.
What’s included: one sheet of hot pink, teal, purple, Jem pink, gold and silver face tattoos in stars, lightning bolts and other rockstar inspired patterns and 15 Swarovski crystals in Aurora Borealis.
Jem and The Holograms Cha Cha Nail Covers: I wanted to make sure that I covered ALL of my Jem beauty bases and when I searched for Jem stuff on Etsy, I got instantly excited about these nail covers. The water slide decals peel easily from paper, and once cut and dipped in water, they adhere easily over a fresh topcoat. Don’t worry- I was nervous but instructions are included.
