Because I always play makeup favorites…
My Latest Makeup Favorites (all under $70)
Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($18)
When creating this lipgloss, Rihanna was obsessed with creating the perfect gloss that “makes you want to put it on over and over again.” The verdict? SHE DID IT. Gloss Bomb has been my #1 since it arrived at my door (maybe you saw my Insta Story?) The shade a universal rose nude that does, in fact, look good on everyone. I say if you buy one thing from this post, Gloss Bomb should be IT. Conditioning shea butter makes your lips soft and your lips will instantly look fuller (plus it’s not sticky).
Rodial Banana Lowlighter ($42)
A lowlighter, you ask? Well, yes. Truth be told, I actually didn’t know what this would do either but after trying it out I realized that the warm, yellow undertone, is ideal for brightening and color correcting under-eye dark circles, with light coverage. And it can be used on top of a full coverage concealer to add greater luminosity to the skin, which I LOVE. It doesn’t have any shimmer, like most highlighters, so if you’re over the shimmer this is def for you.
Elizabeth Arden Tropical Escape Sheer Kiss Lip Oil ($20)
Clearly I’m another big lip gloss kick but you guys know I’m super obsessed with lip OIL (read this post here– still one of my most popular posts). This addictive, lightweight lip color is packed with five precious oils to deliver hydration, antioxidants, and anti-aging effects for soft supple plumped up lips…plus I love the packaging! The circle shape is pretty and very purse-functional.
ColoreScience Total Eye 3-In-1 Renewal Therapy ($69)
I’m also a big fan of ColoreScience products (have you tried their mineral powder SPF?!). That said, when they launched an eye treatment with SPF 35 (!) and a subtle tint of color (!), I was sold. It’s 100% mineral sunscreen (i.e. chemical-free) and helps minimize the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. Also, its potent hydration helps restore the health of the eye area- pretty much an everything-you-need-in-one eye cream and worth every penny.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Plumping Mascara ($9 but on sale for $4.50!)
I love Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line and this mascara definitely didn’t disappoint, especially with the sale price! It’s a super black mascara, which I love. It’s also packed with vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and keratin, making this mascara super beneficial for your lashes- not your basic mascara, guys.
Winky Lux Flower Balm Lip Stain ($14)
The insanely cool green chrysanthemum incased inside this lip balm drew me in. Yep, the flower is REAL! But cool looks aside, this lip stain/balm is actually really, really good. It applies on clear and reacts with your skin’s pH level to create the perfect shade of pink, just for you. This would also make a super cute gift by the way, if you’re in the market for a good friend gift. You can even pick your flower color 🙂
What do you guys think? Will you try any of my latest makeup favorites?!
