LiQWD Volumizing products

So I’ve tried pretty much every volumizing product on the market.  The verdict?  Some work, some work well and some… don’t work at all.  My good friend Nadine Jolie recently told me about a fabulous hair care line called LiQWD and when Nadine tells me that I have to try something, I listen.  First off, I  have to comment on the uber chic and sleek outer packaging because as soon as I saw it, I oooohed and aaahhed and I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a sucker for aethestics.  Anywho, back to the product at hand.  I was really, truly, honestly impressed with how fluffed up and voluminous my hair turned out after using the Shampoo and Conditioner but it didn’t stop there…not only was my hair actually bigger but I also noticed less frizz and didn’t even need to use my flat iron, which, for me, is MAJOR plus.

What makes this product so innovative?  LiQWD uses nano-hydrasphere technology for real gotta-see-it-to-believe-it volume and now, I’m definitely a believer.  Weightless, micorscopic particles penetrate the hair shaft, infusing critical, previously unreachable cortex layers with proprietary volumizing compounds. How’s that for weird science?

TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

So I’m always raving about how much I love dry shampoo but one downside is definitely the cost.  Dry shampoo doesn’t come cheap…until now.  TRESemme just launched their new Fresh Start collection that features the very first “masstige” dry shampoo!  The unique solution refreshes hair on days when you skip a shampoo, removes excess oil, odor and even frizz.  The formula, comprised of mineral clay and citrus extract, refreshes the odor of your hair.  Love it.  AND it’s only $4.99.

Clinque High Impact Curling Mascara

So I’m a long-term Clinique fan and very open about it.  Every time they launch a new product, I’m always surprised that they can actually impress me even more.  It’s kind of ridiculous actually.  I tried out the new High Impact Curling Mascara and my mouth literally dropped.  Not only does the wand have a fun shaped brush (it’s crooked) but it really does make a “high impact,” making the name uber appropriate. The verdict?  No smudging, flaking and came off pretty easy with warm water.  Approved.

OBSESSED: OPI “A good man-darin is hard to find”

So I recently tried out some of the amazing shades from OPI’s Hong Kong collection and I am obsessed.  I don’t know why but whenever I wear any kind of coraly/orange shade on my nails, I get tons of compliments!  I’ve been using a few different corals but this one definitely takes the cake and, I especially love the name – “a good MAN-darin is hard to find.”   Adorbale.  The whole collection is absolutely gorgeous but I seriously can’t stop staring at my nails right now so I’ve gotta stop typing.

Check out Temptalia.com for full, amazing swatches of the Hong Kong collection…Christine is brilliant.
