So I’m absolutely obsessed with MTV’s Jersey Shore and I just got word that Jenni “JWoww” Farley gifted Too Faced’s Tanning Bed in a Tube to all her friends that attended her birthday party this past weekend at Moon nightclub in Las Vegas.  Now, with the wonder lotion that adds an instant bronze glow with a gradual sunless tanner, JWoww’s friends can get their GTL on with out the scary side effects that tanning beds cause.  Happy birthday, JWoww.

So Living Proof, one of my most favorite brands, has come out with yet another life-changing product –NoFrizz Restyling Spray.  This quick-drying, non-oil, non-silicone based formula provides just the right amount of moisture to make your hair soft, shiny and manageable for those in between shampoo moments.  I know I have a lot of those moments, personally.  What I love about this product is that it allows you to actually re-style your hair while also freshening things up a bit. Another A+ for Living Proof.

Functionalab Zen Nutrient Tonic

So if there’s one word to describe my new LA attitude, it’s “zen.”  Ok, well maybe not exactly zen…but defintely more zen than I’ve been in a VERY long time. People, I even take VITAMINS now.  This is major.  I recently tried out Functionalab Zen Nutrient Tonic, thinking that hey, it just might make me even more relaxed, right?  100% correct.  At only 23 calories, Zen Tonic is a carefully selected mix of phytonutrients, including berry extract, passion flower, citrus aurantium, lemon balm and hawthorn designed to help promote a peaceful state of mind.  Passion flower leaves and roots have long been used by Native Americans to make infusions that provide a state of relaxation and peaceful state of mind.  I’ll definitely be drinking this more often.

Degree Women Natureffects Collection – TASTE

So as much as I love Los Angeles, one thing that it definitely lacks is that super exciting season change that I used to experience in New York – winter turning to spring.  It’s the most exciting thing EVER.  It starts with the bitter cold snow and then one day, mysteriously, it’s 70 degrees and sunny.  I love it.  Anyhow, I’ve parterned with my favorite deodorant, Degree, as they’ve agreed to stimulate my senses and help me feel the seasons change, even though I’m in LA.

I had NO IDEA that a whopping 40% of women have called in sick from work just to spend time outside…ha, I thought it was only me who did things like that!  My first sense stimulated?  TASTE. I was sent a yummy orange olive cake – the ingredients in the cake are inspired by two of the new fragrances from the Degree Women Natureffects Collection – olive leaf & pink pepper and orange flower & cranberry.  YUM.  I can’t wait for the next delivery.  Stay tuned.
