So for those of us that are type A, you probably already have a planner. This year, I’ve been using Erin Condren’s ridiculously cool Life Planner (in leopard, of course) and I find that it just makes my day a little bit better when I write inside of it. Want one? Erin’s having a big PRE-SALE! Get 25% off by entering PLAN25 at checkout.
So it’s already mid January and I’m sure that I’m not the only one that hasn’t fulfilled their New Years resolution to work out more, right? I felt really inspired when I saw this pic of Kim and Khloe Kardashian leaving the gym in LA last week. They’re both wearing head-to-toe PH8 and are looking comfortable enough to work out but also still super cute…what better way to multi-task and maybe, just maybe, pick up a dude? Anyway, this is my new strategy- look cute at the gym, tone up and maybe get some dates out of it. Boom.
So I read in a recent Us Weekly that green tea actually keeps you slim. Now, I’m not a huge fan of tea but I do like green tea, oddly enough. According to Dr. Mehmet Oz, “research shows drinking three cups a day reduced body weight and waist circumference by 5 percent in three months. Antioxidants in the tea seem to help burn calories and hinder inflammation that leads to obesity.” Really? I’m gonna try this out and report back on results. In the meantime, I decided to use Village Tea Company Sassy Green Tea with Acai as my tea to test out Dr. Oz’s theory. Stay tuned for updates…
So you may have seen my first “Three Questions With…” feature where I had the honor of interviewing Tory Burch! In this addition, I sat down with an amazing woman, Delilah Rabina. Delilah is the designer and founder of HotBox Los Angeles, student, PR Assistant and did I mention store owner? I’m still in shock that she manages to juggle (and be successful) at all of these things and here are her answers to my burning questions:
What was the final decision maker that really pushed you to start your own fashion line at age 19?
My passion for finding my own style led me to start Hotbox Vintage in 2005, from there my real inspiration to begin a fashion line came from loyalty to my customers who have supported me along the way.
How do you find the time to own a store, run a clothing line and work in the celebrity division of a PR company?
When you really enjoy doing something it doesn’t feel like work; However, when it does come down to getting work done, nothing would be possible without the help I receive from my friends.
What are your three fashion must-have and three beauty must-haves?
My fashion must-haves return to the basics. A great pair of jeans is always a must (I love my DL1961 jeans), a cozy cardigan and accessories area definite must to finish any look. For me, a beauty must-have is sunscreen-based foundation and I never leave the house without my Bloom lip gloss.

So I blog about CHANEL a lot, to say the least. I’m slightly biased because I fell in love with the brand about 5 years ago while I interned there in college. Ah, memories. Alas, the super brand has done it again- starting February 15th, for a mere $74 you get 55 press-on CHANEL faux bracelets, pendants, necklaces, cherry blossoms and a bejewled bird. You might think $74 is a bit pricey for fake tattoos but you get 55 of them to play with! They’re based on faux tattoos from their Spring fashion show that Creative Director, Peter Philips, created for their models. I LOVE.
