Cover FX Mint Glaze

So Cover FX’s Mint Glaze in five words? Girl Scout cookie Thin Mints. Literally. As soon as I applied the clear glaze, I was taken back to my childhood summers where I ran around barefoot in the grass and ate frozen Thin Mints my Dad had been storing since spring. It felt great. I also love that the glaze has SPF 15 and serves as a pout perfecting primer that hydrates & softens the appearance of lines. Approved.

So it’s quite simple. If you’re in New York City, you need to make an appointment with Dr. Irwin Smigel, dentist to the stars and creator of the brand, SuperSmile. It’s not so easy to get an appointment with the doctor, whose fans include the likes of Kelly Ripa, Cameron Diaz and Kristen Bell but if you can’t get in, pick up some of the SuperSmile products!

I had the honor of meeting Dr. Smigel, who is probably one of the most charming, jovial men I’ve ever met. As he discussed his motives behind the SuperSmile brand, you could feel how completely genuine and passionate he truly is about dentistry and really making his customers and patients happy. Some of my favorites in the line?

Random Rant: Men and their TV’s

So I’ll be the first to admit that I honestly do not understand why men are so obsessed with large TVs. No, seriously…can anyone explain this to me? I’m perfectly satisfied with my 19 inch or even watching movies on my laptop, which is even smaller. Personally, I prefer spending my money on clothing and cocktails and would sooner die than shell out $2,000 for a flat screen, hi-def, plasma whatever-you-call-it TV that has an “amazing picture.” If you want the picture to be THAT amazing, you should just GO TO THE GAME. It’s probably cheaper. Ok, end rant.
