Baby’s first Botox! (Part II)

So status update from 6 days ago: I’m confused. My “11’s” are definitely gone but mysteriously I know seem to have what I can only refer to as “bird wings.” The lines have sort of rotated outwards…is this normal? Is it possible that I had my bird wings already and now I’m just noticing them because my 11’s are gone? All these code names are starting to confuse me. Alas, it’s only been 6 days so I’ll post my final report in 4 more days…to be continued.

DIY: Foot exfoliation

So with the recession and all, I’ve been trying to skimp on certain luxuries…one being pedicures. Not a bad thing to skip in the winter but now that it’s getting warmer out, my recession money-saver is starting to become a bit harder. That’s when I had the brilliant idea to use a strong body scrub to exfoliate my feet, preventing my feet from getting dry and flaky. I randomly selected Soap & Glory’s Sugar Crush Body Scrub and am super excited with the result. This product is not only a great scrub but it’s also really moisturizing and smells delish. Plus, it’s a huge tub and last for a loooong time. Definitely check it out for your feet OR body.

Mascara Monday: Sensai Mascara 38 Degrees C

So I’ve been noticing a ton of mascara launches lately…so many, in fact, that I decided to do a weekly review of my favorites every Monday. “Mascara Monday,” if you will.

Let’s kick off Mascara Monday with a really interesting new favorite that I’ve come across- Sensai 38 degrees C. An outstanding mascara that under normal conditions is practically smudge-free even when exposed to sweat, tears and humidity, but easily comes off with a rinse of warm water at 38 degrees Celsius or above. I’m loving that this mascara only washes off at a certain temperature…very scientific and s-m-a-r-t. Available at Bergdorf Goodman. Call 1.866.271.6815 to order.
