Because zits are the WORST and these are brilliant…

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get a small zit under my nose (yeah, that feels as great as you can imagine) and a little red bump on my cheek.  I don’t break out very often but when I do I usually dab a little zit cream on the spot (aka spot treat it) and then it usually goes away in a day or two, hopefully.  My system is pretty good but I sometimes run across some issues when I want to wear the treatment overnight and it either ends up getting all over my pillow and, ipso facto, doesn’t treat my pimple OR it just runs down my face and doesn’t really do anything.  It’s because of all of that annoying-ness that you can imagine my excitement when I heard about Peter Thomas Roth Acne-Clear Invisible Dots, which is basically a sticker that medicates your zit. I mean. HOW did I not think of this?!

Each sticker is clear (hence why you can barely see them in the photo above!) and comes in two sizes that allow for complete coverage (depending on how big your breakout is), protecting from infection and preventing the spread of acne-causing bacteria. Salicylic acid works overnight and throughout the day to effectively reduce and heal blemishes, tea tree oil, a natural astringent, helps clarify and refresh skin while inhibiting the spread of bacteria, and hyaluronic acid is a natural humectant that helps hydrate skin to combat excessive drying and irritation.

And, I mean, putting stickers on your face is kinda fun.  Here’s how to use them:
-Before application, clean and dry affected area
-Apply an appropriately sized dot to blemish, covering completely
-Pat edges to secure and contain blemish
-Leave in place for at least eight hours to permit healing
-To remove, gently peel back and discard
-Cleanse affected area and repeat application with a fresh dot, if desired and there isn’t any redness
