My Favorite Purchases From Amazon In August

collage of Purchases From Amazon In August

Because it’s all practical stuff this month…

I laughed out loud when I went down my list of Amazon purchases for August – talk about practical!  It’s not a bad thing, of course, and I’m actually happy to report that I’ve been cutting back a bit on my Amazon spending cause it was pretty, pretty out of control during quarantine.  Anyone else with me?

MY AUGUST AMAZON FAVORITES

1// BRAMI pasta

Ok, so hear me out.  I know “pasta alternatives” can get a bad rep BUT this lupini bean pasta is really, really good and good for you.  I’ve tried pretty much every type of pasta – brown rice, black bean, red lentil, hearts of palm, chickpea, edamame, konjac, etc (red lentil is the best btw), and I have to say…the lupini bean pasta is GOOD and definitely a new favorite.  Even better, I recently learned that the lupini bean is full of protein and fiber, which means you can eat a smaller amount and still be really full.  Give it a try and let me know what you think.

2// Silicone ice cube molds with lids

I love a giant ice cube but I picked these up because I realized that I can freeze other things in them (the lid helps) like soup, coconut cream, etc.  This is 39, apparently.

3// NeoCell Hyaluronic Acid Liquid

When I decided that I absolutely needed to try to make my own version of the Hailey Bieber Erewhon smoothie (with less sugar!), I obviously needed this key ingredient – edible hyaluronic acid.  Good for your skin, natch, and as a bonus it tastes like berries.

4// V-line Lifting Hydrogel Collagen Neck Mask

This was a TikTok find and I was immediately very into this neck mask.  You wear it for about 30 minutes and it uses collagen and hyaluronic acid to tighten and define the jawline.  Will it give you a chiseled chin permanently?  Of course not.  Does it help when you’re feeling a little puffy-faced?  Yes, absolutely.

5// HUM Nutrition Gut Instinct Probiotic

I’m a biiiiig time HUM fan (for years actually), and I needed a new probiotic, so I picked up HUM’s version.  I’m lucky that I’ve never had stomach issues – I know #GutHealth is a THING on TikTok and, apparently, “Hot girls have IBS” is also a thing.  Will this probiotic help you with or with out gut issues?  Definitively yes.  It has 10 probiotic strains, and I like that you only need to take one small capsule instead of several huge horse pills (like some other brands).

6// Leopard print disposable face masks

I’m still a “I wear face masks indoors” kinda girl (and you should be, too!), so I figured why not try a fun pattern?  Funny enough, I get tons of compliments every time I wear one of these leopard print babies out and about.

7// Chic black cross body fanny pack

I cracked and got on the cross body fanny pack bandwagon.  That said, I’m not rally a Lulu girl (aka the cross body fanny that broke the internet and is constantly sold out), so I decided on one that looks a little more chic, IMO.  This one is only $21 but it gives Gucci vibes and I love it.

8// Saltair natural deodorant in Santal Bloom

Two weeks ago I blogged about my legitimate love for this deodorant – otherwise known as the best natural deodorant ever.  Well, not only is a current best-seller on the blog, but I also wanted to mention again that it’s available on Amazon.  I’ve been using and loving the Santal Bloom scent (pictured above), but I also picked up the Lush Greens fragrance just to try one of the other scents- at first sniff I love it!  As a reminder, it’s clinically proven to give you 24-hour protection – I can personally attest to this – and there is absolutely no detox time where you start using it and then you stink as your body detoxes out your old deodorant.  That doesn’t happen, which is honestly a natural deodorant miracle.
