My skin savoir in Iceland

Because Iceland was REALLY cold and my skin needed some major love…

Obviously I went to Iceland knowing that it would be a “winter vacation” (packing list post here) but I certainly did NOT expect that I would legit be freezing until the last two days of my jaunt. And when I say freezing, I mean that I was on a major search for a face mask and my friend Kelsi had to actually give me layers of clothing that she was already wearing to make me warmer (don’t worry, she wasn’t as cold as I was so I’m not a total b*tch for taking her clothes). Side note: my official Iceland Travel Guide is still coming, along with a post on my face care routine for the trip 🙂

Like I mentioned in my Packing List post, I partnered with Aveeno to test out their new Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurt on my trip since the lotion is incredibly nourishing. Aside from loving both scents (Apricot & Honey and Vanilla & Oats!), this stuff was amazing for my dry, very cold skin because it contains the brand’s signature Active Natural Oatmeal and nutrient-rich yogurt.

The Body Yogurt also boasts tons of vitamins, lactose, proteins, lactic acid and lipids (often found in yogurt) to deliver super rich and nourishing moisture back to skin, which it 1,000% did for me on my trip.

And then, after applying my Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurt I made Kelsi take photos of me outside in the freezing cold. Wearing a moose onesie and a faux fur hat. Just because.

Because there’s really nothing better than standing in the middle of sidewalk, in the freezing cold, wearing a moose onesie.
